Influence of pre-sowing UV-radiation on the energy of germination capacity and germination ability of rapeseed
The object of research is the rapeseed, which is the first among oilseeds by the volume of sowing. One of the most problematic places of the agricultural complex is an increase in the quantity and quality of the seed material. To solve this problem, scientists and agricultural specialists use various methods, preferring optical radiation – pre-sowing UV-seed treatment. Selection of treatment regimes requires detailed studies and a differentiated approach for each crop separately.
In the work pre-sowing influence of ultraviolet UV-irradiation of rapeseeds on biological processes (germination energy, germination and growth) is investigated. 20 W low-pressure ultraviolet lamps of the type ZW20D15W (China) emitting in the C region are used. The radiation dose is measured according to standard methods using a Tenzor-31 radiometer (Ukraine).
Samples of rapeseeds, in addition to control, are irradiated with ultraviolet radiation in the C region with doses of 10 J/m2, 20 J/m2, 50 J/m2, 80 J/m2, 100 J/m2, 120 J/m2and 200 J/m2. Irradiated and control samples of seeds are germinated in Petri dishes at an air temperature of 242 ° C. The number of seedlings is counted after 3 days – the germination energy, and after 7 days – germination ability.
Due to the use of UV irradiation at doses of 80-120 J/m2, the following results are obtained in comparison with the control sample: the germination energy of rapeseeds is increased by 20-26%; germination ability increases by 16%. At the same time, the average biomass of plants from irradiated seeds increases by 18.3% in comparison with the control samples for 10 days of growth.
In field studies, the germination of rapeseeds after irradiation with a UV-C dose of 120 J/m2 compared to the control sample increased by 16% and becomes 89%.Influence of pre-sowing UV-radiation on the energy of germination capacity and germination ability of rapeseed / Technology audit and production reserves. – 2018. – № 5/1 (43). Analysis of forced vibrations of conveyor belts
The paper presents the study of forced transverse vibrations of conveyor belts. Those are caused by rollers having an eccentricity, which originates either from production errors or transported material sticking to bearing rollers of the lower conveyor branch. The dynamic behavior of the belt was analyzed by solving a boundary problem described by differential equations expressed in partial derivatives and corresponding boundary conditions. The solution helped to determine modal parameters of the system - eigenfrequencies and eigenforms of vibrations, which, in their main modes, would be the basis of practical recommendations for selecting such parameters of conveyor systems and their operational modes which could prevent the system from getting into a resonance state. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd
Problems with the use of pneumatic screw pumps to transport bulk cargo
An analysis is made of the performance of pneumatic screw pumps at the Bereznikovsky Soda Plant in order be able to transport light soda along a prescribed route and make use of a new nozzle section to make the pumps' operation more reliable. Specific recommendations are made to increase the throughput and reliability of pneumatic screw pumps. The expediency of replacing long lines of screw pumps by chamber pumps is also discussed. © 2013 Springer Science+Business Media New York
Tubular Belt Conveyor with Baffles
FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: tubular belt conveyor is proposed with partitions attached to the belt along the entire length of the conveyor belt from the side of its working surface at a certain, but not necessarily equal, distance from each other, designed for moving bulk cargo, including finely dispersed cargo, providing steeply inclined transportation of cargo up to vertical directions. The transverse partitions are made corrugated and secured along the entire line of abutment to the tape, forming dense diaphragms when the tape is rolled into a pipe, dividing the tape rolled into a pipe into sealed chambers. EFFECT: increased reliability of the conveyor. 1 cl, 5 dwg.Программа предназначена для связи персонального компьютера с устройствами, использующими протокол Modbus RTU. Expression of some molecular and biological markers in esophageal tumors of various stages and grades
Objectives: immunohistochemical study of the expression of molecular and biological markers (p53, bcl-2 and ki-67) in esophageal tumors of various stages and grades, and evaluation of the markers in the disease prognosis. Material and methods: the study included 30 patients of a retrospective group with stage II-III squamous cell carcinoma of the esophagus. Immunohistochemical study of paraffi n sections was performed using primary mouse monoclonal antibodies against p53, bcl-2 and ki67, and Reveal Polyvalent HRP-DAB Detection System. Results: diff erences in the rates and expression of molecular and biological markers (p53, bcl-2 and ki-67), controlling apoptosis and proliferation, depended on the tumor stage and grade. Conclusions: fdvanced cancer of the esophagus demonstrated an increase in rates and expression of p53+ and ki-67, as well as in the proliferative activity of tumor cells. Bcl-2 expression was more frequent and intensive in stage II tumors, compared to stage III. Esophageal tumors of higher grades were characterized with higher rates and expression of p53 and ki-67, and conversely for the bcl-2 expression. Th e revealed diff erences can be used in the disease prognosis
