    Redundant Mitral Valve Simulating an Intracardiac Mass on Transesophageal Echocardiography

    Cardiac ultrasound is a useful diagnostic modality for the evaluation of cardiac masses and tumors. However, normal cardiac structures and normal variants can mimic masses with both transthoracic echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography.
