Where is SGR1806-20?
We apply a statistical method to derive very precise locations for soft gamma
repeaters using data from the interplanetary network. We demonstrate the
validity of the method by deriving a 600 arcsec^2 error ellipse for SGR1900+14
whose center agrees well with the VLA source position. We then apply it to
SGR1806-20, for which we obtain a 230 arcsec^2 error ellipse, the smallest
burst error box to date. We find that the most likely position of the source
has a small but significant displacement from that of the non-thermal core of
the radio supernova remnant G10.0-0.3, which was previously thought to be the
position of the repeater. We propose a different model to explain the changing
supernova remnant morphology and the positions of the luminous blue variable

Entrepreneurial cognition and the quality of new venture ideas:An experimental approach to comparing future-oriented cognitive processes
In the research reported here, we compared how future-oriented cognitive processes underpin differences in the quality of new venture ideas (NVIs) generated by respondents. We primed the use of future-oriented cognitive processes in two experiments. The first experiment shows that prospective thinking leads to NVIs of higher quality in comparison to counterfactual thinking, perspective taking and a control group. The second experiment shows that prospective thinking and perspective taking result in NVIs of higher quality compared to counterfactual thinking and the control group. We also find that prior knowledge of technology strengthens these effects. Post-hoc analyses show that these effects are present when respondents are prompted to generate NVIs, but not when they spontaneously generate NVIs, and that respondents with more prior business experience are more likely to spontaneously generate NVIs. Finally, we discuss contributions our research makes to the literature on entrepreneurial cognition and opportunity recognition, and to practice

Many authors mention the use of imagination by entrepreneurs, but none of them discuss
how entrepreneurs use their imagination and to what extent it helps them to create their
opportunities. This research builds on existing entrepreneurship literature to answer the
question how entrepreneurs use imagination to create opportunities. This question will be
answered by performing in-depth case studies based on narratives
How Advanced Change Patterns Impact the Process of Process Modeling
Process model quality has been an area of considerable research efforts. In
this context, correctness-by-construction as enabled by change patterns
provides promising perspectives. While the process of process modeling (PPM)
based on change primitives has been thoroughly investigated, only little is
known about the PPM based on change patterns. In particular, it is unclear what
set of change patterns should be provided and how the available change pattern
set impacts the PPM. To obtain a better understanding of the latter as well as
the (subjective) perceptions of process modelers, the arising challenges, and
the pros and cons of different change pattern sets we conduct a controlled
experiment. Our results indicate that process modelers face similar challenges
irrespective of the used change pattern set (core pattern set versus extended
pattern set, which adds two advanced change patterns to the core patterns set).
An extended change pattern set, however, is perceived as more difficult to use,
yielding a higher mental effort. Moreover, our results indicate that more
advanced patterns were only used to a limited extent and frequently applied
