CARACTERISTICAS EPIDEMIOLÓGICAS DA SAÚDE MATERNO-INFANTIL

Trata-se de uma revisão que objetivou descrever as características clínicas da saúde materno infantil e verificar a distribuição das publicações, no que diz respeito, ano, local, profissionais e periódico. A coleta de dados ocorreu entre agosto a novembro de 2011 nas bases de dados da Literatura Latino-Americano e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Os critérios de inclusão foram: artigos originais publicados em periódicos na área da enfermagem, entre os anos de 2001 e 2011, disponíveis on-line e publicados no Brasil. Este trabalho evidenciou características materno – infantis onde é analisada a idade da mãe, o seu estado civil, número de consultas pré-natais realizadas, tipo de parto, nas características do recém-nascido é analisado o peso ao nascer e a idade gestacional.-EPIDEMIOLOGICAL FEATURES OF MATERNAL AND CHILD HEALTH ABSTRACT: This is a review that aimed to describe the clinical characteristics of maternal and child health and to investigate the distribution of publications, regarding, year, location, professionals and periodical. Data collection occurred between August and November 2011 in the bases data from the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO). Inclusion criteria were: original articles published in journals in nursing, between the years 2001 and 2011, available online and published in Brazil. This work showed characteristics maternal - infant where it is analyzed the mother's age, her marital status, number of antenatal consultations held, type of delivery; and for the characteristics of the newborn it is examined birth weight and gestational age. AÇÕES EDUCATIVAS DE ASSISTÊNCIA EM ENFERMAGEM EM AMBIENTE HOSPITALAR: A ATENÇÃO A PAIS E FAMILIARES DE NEONATOS EM FOTOTERAPIA

A educação em saúde é compreendida hoje como uma importante ferramenta para a transformação do fazer dos profissionais dessa área, bem como, para a transformação das realidades vivenciadas. Ela, quando trabalhada de forma a compartilhar a responsabilidade pelo cuidado, pode transformar as ações mais técnicas desenvolvidas em ambientes mais tradicionais, como o hospital, em ações mais humanizadas, onde o vínculo e o respeito pelo saber do outro se realizam de forma cíclica e horizontalizada. Nesse sentido, este trabalho tem como objetivo divulgar as ações de um projeto de extensão desenvolvido junto aos recém-nascidos internados em uma unidade hospitalar de um hospital de médio porte da região norte do Rio Grande do Sul/Brasil. Foram realizados encontros e diálogos informais com pais e familiares de recém-nascidos internados para tratamento em fototerapia, e tiveram como objetivo amenizar o desgaste físico e emocional que esse momento traumático pudesse trazer aos neonatos e aos pais/familiares.-EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES OF NURSING ASSISTANCE IN HOSPITAL ENVIRONMENT: ATTENTION TO PARENTS AND FAMILIES OF NEWBORNS IN PHOTOTHERAPY ABSTRACT: Health education is understood today as an important tool for the making transformation of professionals from this area, as well as for the transformation of the experienced realities. It, when worked in such a way to share the responsibility for caring, can transform the most techniques developed in more traditional environments such as hospital, in more humanized actions, where the bond and the respect for the knowledge of another one are performed by horizontalized and cyclic form. Accordingly, this paper aims to publicize the actions of an extension project developed together with newborns admitted in a hospital unit of a mid-size hospital in the northern region of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Meetings and informal dialogues with parents and families of newborns admitted to treatment in phototherapy were held, and had intended to alleviate the emotional and physical waste that this traumatic moment could bring to newborns and their parents/family. ESTIMULANDO O AUTOCUIDADO COM PORTADORES DE HIPERTENSÃO ARTERIAL SISTÊMICA: A LUZ DE DOROTHEA OREN

Objetivou-se desenvolver ações de educação em saúde com vistas a estimular o autocuidado ao paciente portador de hipertensão arterial à luz da teoria do autocuidado de Dorothea Orem. Trata-se de relato de experiência do projeto de prática assistencial, desenvolvido no decorrer do segundo semestre de 2010 e primeiro semestre de 2011, com os integrantes do Grupo de Hipertensos da Estratégia de Saúde da Família II. Como resultados ocorreram quatro grupos educativos, os quais possibilitaram a aproximação, o cuidado e a construção coletiva de conhecimento. Evidenciamos a importância de desenvolver trabalhos junto aos participantes do Grupo de Hipertensos, para conversar, conhecer e trocar conhecimentos acerca da hipertensão arterial e o esclarecimento de dúvidas que os mesmos tinham a respeito do tratamento, proporcionando através desses encontros espaços de socialização e sensibilização a respeito da situação em que estavam vivenciando.-ENCOURAGING SELF-CARE SKILLS WITH SYSTEMIC ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION PATIENTS: IN THE LIGHT OF DOROTHEA OREM ABSTRACT: It was aimed to develop health education actions with intent to encourage self-care skills to patients with arterial hypertension in the light of the Self-care theory by Dorothea Orem. It is about an experience report from a health care practice, developed during the second semester of 2010 and the first semester of 2011, with the members of the Grupo de Hipertensos da Estratégia de Saúde da Família II (Hypertensive Group of Family Health Strategy II ). As a result there were four educational groups, which made the approach, the care and the collective construction of knowledge. We highlighted the importance of developing work along the Hypertensive Group participants, chatting, meeting and exchanging knowledge about hypertension and the clarification of doubts they had regarding treatment, providing, through these meetings, areas for socialization and raising awareness about the situation in which they were experiencing.
