    The current buildings have problems that affect the health of the occupants. Inside there are electromagnetic fields produced by the network cabling, microwave fields of the WI-FI, fields produced by terrestrial storms, fields produced by telephony antennas, fields created by active faults near the surface, radiation from soil, etc that the classical electrical materials of grounds are not able to eliminate. We propose placing plates in direct contact with the ground and under the foundation slabs or side conductive of the walls. These plates, which tend to have large surface area would be made based on Portland cement or concrete of aluminates with graphite which helps to dramatically increase the electrical conductivity of the plate and driving ground harmful loads and slow or prevent their entry to the building.Peer Reviewe

    Con el objetivo de contribuir a mejorar y enriquecer la enseñanza de la arquitectura se analizan los conceptos de equilibrio, material y forma (geometría) y sus relaciones. Puesto que el proyecto integra tales conceptos, nuestra metodología consiste en profundizar en las relaciones deducidas de Leyes Fisicas que integran los tres parámetros. Se analizan los contenidos de las dos asignaturas de Física impartidas en el primer curso de la ETSAB, la primera adaptada al campo estructural y la segunda al campo de las instalaciones. La funcionalidad estructural se basa en el equilibrio estático ampliado por el material y la forma. El Aislamiento térmico, la Acústica y la Iluminación también aprovechan dichos conceptos pero su interpretación pues ser diferente sobre todo en la Acústica y la Iluminación.The concepts of equilibrium, material and shape (geometry) and their relationships are analyzed in order to contribute to improve and enrich the teaching of architecture. Since the project integrates these concepts, our methodology is to approfondish in deduced relationships of physical laws that make up the three parameters. We analyze the contents of two physics courses taught in the first year of the architect titol of the ETSAB, the first one is adapted to the structural field and the second one is adapted to the facilities field of buildings . Structural functionality is based on the static balance expanded by material and shape. Thermal insulation, acoustics and lighting also take advantage of these concepts but our interpretation is different especially in the acoustics and lighting parameteres.Peer Reviewe

    The learning in architecture has a complexity that is a field that must be synthetize aesthetics and functionality. Somehow students are not very effective when they try to mix this terms, in most of the physical topics. To reach this there is a subject “ Applied Physics to Structures “ that shows development of a unification process for learning, crucial to energetic parameters where Energy is the most fundamental parameter for all processes. After the theoretical explanation, a practical application of this knowlodge is propose to existing buildings with a method that is applicable to rehabilitation and allows the study of structural elements without any kind of intervention, as show in the examples of this study as la Sagrada Familia, the Gotic Cathedral ofLeon and an application to the cathedral of Vitoria and other buildings
