Hóquei sobre a Grama e Indoor no estado do Rio Grande do Sul

Objetivo: Descrever como ocorreu a trajetória da modalidade hóquei sobre a grama e indoor com base nas ações realizadas no primeiro mandato da Federação de Hóquei sobre a Grama e Indoor do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (FHERS) de 2010 a 2014. Métodos: Esta pesquisa histórico-documental foi elaborada por meio de revisão bibliográfica, pela análise de documentos e de fontes orais com seis entrevistas com fundadores e dirigentes do primeiro e segundo mandatos da FHERS. Resultados: A trajetória da modalidade está vinculada a clubes, escolas, projetos sociais e universidades. Estas instituições foram o alicerce para o desenvolvimento de cursos, oficinas, workshops, vivências, práticas em aulas de educação física e em projetos de extensão, a criação da disciplina eletiva da modalidade na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul e a realização de festivais e campeonatos da modalidade. Conclusão: Em razão de o Brasil sediar os Jogos Pan-Americanos e os Jogos Olímpicos, a implantação desse esporte no território sul-rio-grandense, ocorreu através de recursos financeiros tanto da esfera nacional quanto estadual, além da visibilidade dada ao esporte devido a esses megaeventos

Hockey sobre césped y Indoor en el estado del Rio Grande del Sur : el primer mandato de la Federación Deportiva (2010-2014)

Este estudo tem como objetivo descrever como ocorreu a trajetória da modalidade hóquei sobre a grama e indoor no estado do Rio Grande do Sul com base nas ações realizadas no primeiro mandato da Federação de Hóquei sobre a Grama e Indoor do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul (FHERS) de 2010 a 2014. The historical documentary research was carried out through literature review, document analysis and oral sources with six interviews that were conducted with founders and leaders of the first and second mandate of FHERS. The results pointed out that the trajectory is linked to clubs, schools, social projects and Universities. These institutions were the foundation for the development of courses, workshops, field work and the performance of ongoing activities, such as the practice in Physical Education classes and extension projects, the creation of the elective subject at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and the organization of festivals and championships. Due Brazil was the host country for the PanAmerican and Olympic Games, the start of this sport in Rio Grande do Sul state happened through financial resources from national and state level, besides the visibility given to the sport due these mega-events.Este estudio tiene como objetivo describir cómo ocurrió la trayectoria de la modalidad Hockey sobre césped e Indoor en el estado de Rio Grande del Sur con base en las acciones realizadas en el primer mandato de la Federación de Hockey sobre Césped e Indoor del estado de Rio Grande do Sul (FHERS), de 2010 a 2014. Esta investigación histórico-documental fue elaborada por medio de revisión bibliográfica, por el análisis de documentos y de fuentes orales con seis entrevistas con fundadores y dirigentes del primero y segundo mandatos de la FHERS. Como resultados se encontró que la trayectoria de la modalidad está vinculada a clubes, escuelas, proyectos sociales y universidades. Estas instituciones fueron el fundamento para el desarrollo de cursos, talleres, vivencias, prácticas en clases de educación física y en proyectos de extensión, la creación de la asignatura electiva de la modalidad en la Universidad Federal de Rio Grande do Sul y la realización de festivales y campeonatos de la modalidad. En razón de que Brasil fue sede de los Juegos Panamericanos y los Juegos Olímpicos, la implantación de ese deporte en el territorio del Rio Grande del Sur ocurrió a través de recursos financieros tanto de la esfera nacional como estadual, además de la visibilidad dada al deporte debido a esos mega eventos

Risk portfolio on modern finance has become increasingly technical, requiring the use of sophisticated mathematical tools in both research and practice. Since companies cannot insure themselves completely against risk, as human incompetence in predicting the future precisely that written in Al-Quran surah Luqman verse 34, they have to manage it to yield an optimal portfolio. The objective here is to minimize the variance among all portfolios, or alternatively, to maximize expected return among all portfolios that has at least a certain expected return. Furthermore, this study focuses on optimizing risk portfolio so called Markowitz MVO (Mean-Variance Optimization). Some theoretical frameworks for analysis are arithmetic mean, geometric mean, variance, covariance, linear programming, and quadratic programming. Moreover, finding a minimum variance portfolio produces a convex quadratic programming, that is minimizing the objective function ðð¥with constraintsð ð 𥠥 ðandð´ð¥ = ð. The outcome of this research is the solution of optimal risk portofolio in some investments that could be finished smoothly using MATLAB R2007b software together with its graphic analysis

Differential cross section measurements for the production of a W boson in association with jets in proton–proton collisions at √s = 7 TeV

Measurements are reported of differential cross sections for the production of a W boson, which decays into a muon and a neutrino, in association with jets, as a function of several variables, including the transverse momenta (pT) and pseudorapidities of the four leading jets, the scalar sum of jet transverse momenta (HT), and the difference in azimuthal angle between the directions of each jet and the muon. The data sample of pp collisions at a centre-of-mass energy of 7 TeV was collected with the CMS detector at the LHC and corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 5.0 fb[superscript −1]. The measured cross sections are compared to predictions from Monte Carlo generators, MadGraph + pythia and sherpa, and to next-to-leading-order calculations from BlackHat + sherpa. The differential cross sections are found to be in agreement with the predictions, apart from the pT distributions of the leading jets at high pT values, the distributions of the HT at high-HT and low jet multiplicity, and the distribution of the difference in azimuthal angle between the leading jet and the muon at low values.United States. Measurement of the Splitting Function in &ITpp &ITand Pb-Pb Collisions at root&ITsNN&IT=5.02 TeV

Data from heavy ion collisions suggest that the evolution of a parton shower is modified by interactions with the color charges in the dense partonic medium created in these collisions, but it is not known where in the shower evolution the modifications occur. The momentum ratio of the two leading partons, resolved as subjets, provides information about the parton shower evolution. This substructure observable, known as the splitting function, reflects the process of a parton splitting into two other partons and has been measured for jets with transverse momentum between 140 and 500 GeV, in pp and PbPb collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 5.02 TeV per nucleon pair. In central PbPb collisions, the splitting function indicates a more unbalanced momentum ratio, compared to peripheral PbPb and pp collisions.. Measurement of nuclear modification factors of gamma(1S)), gamma(2S), and gamma(3S) mesons in PbPb collisions at root s(NN)=5.02 TeV

The cross sections for ϒ(1S), ϒ(2S), and ϒ(3S) production in lead-lead (PbPb) and proton-proton (pp) collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV have been measured using the CMS detector at the LHC. The nuclear modification factors, RAA, derived from the PbPb-to-pp ratio of yields for each state, are studied as functions of meson rapidity and transverse momentum, as well as PbPb collision centrality. The yields of all three states are found to be significantly suppressed, and compatible with a sequential ordering of the suppression, RAA(ϒ(1S)) > RAA(ϒ(2S)) > RAA(ϒ(3S)). The suppression of ϒ(1S) is larger than that seen at √sNN = 2.76 TeV, although the two are compatible within uncertainties. The upper limit on the RAA of ϒ(3S) integrated over pT, rapidity and centrality is 0.096 at 95% confidence level, which is the strongest suppression observed for a quarkonium state in heavy ion collisions to date. © 2019 The Author(s).
