Etude de l'efficacité des nouveaux dispositifs de récupération des macro-organismes à la centrale nucléaire du Blayais (Gironde) : juin 1984-mai 1985

    No full text
L'étude a pour but : d'évaluer l'efficacité de récupération des dispositifs, d'établir des taux de mortalité spécifique, d'estimer les quantités de macro-organismes piégées et détruites durant un an

Haptic Rendering of Planar Rigid-Body Motion Using a Redundant Parallel Mechanism

    No full text
We present a system for rendering planar rigid-body motion by means of a redundant parallel mechanism. The device design, the control architecture and the passive virtual environment simulation are presented. The system is used to compare various virtual walls and friction models proposed for haptic applications. In addition, the reset-integrator dry friction model proposed by Haessig and Friedland [8] is implemented in a haptic interface for the first time

    Electroactive polymer actuator online database

As polymer actuator performance improves there is an increasing demand to understand and compare properties. Past comparisons have relied on general statements of properties but do not capture the interdependence of these properties or keep up with the rapid pace of change. Modeling such interdependencies is complex. An alternative is to compile many measurements. A new actuator database has been created that is a compilation of experimental methods and results (mechanical, electrical, chemical and other properties) combined with a web interface. The objective is to capture actuator performance under a wide variety of conditions. The current content of the page is presented and justified.
