Women are diagnosed with PTSD approximately twice as often as men. In this review, we outline the evidence of gender differences related to PTSD, and the factors of resilience and susceptibility differ between men and women

    Web of scholars : a scholar knowledge graph

    In this work, we demonstrate a novel system, namely Web of Scholars, which integrates state-of-the-art mining techniques to search, mine, and visualize complex networks behind scholars in the field of Computer Science. Relying on the knowledge graph, it provides services for fast, accurate, and intelligent semantic querying as well as powerful recommendations. In addition, in order to realize information sharing, it provides open API to be served as the underlying architecture for advanced functions. Web of Scholars takes advantage of knowledge graph, which means that it will be able to access more knowledge if more search exist. It can be served as a useful and interoperable tool for scholars to conduct in-depth analysis within Science of Science. © 2020 ACM

    A topological transition-induced giant transverse thermoelectric effect in polycrystalline Dirac semimetal Mg3Bi2

    To achieve thermoelectric energy conversion, a large transverse thermoelectric effect in topological materials is crucial. However, the general relationship between topological electronic structures and transverse thermoelectric effect remains unclear, restricting the rational design of novel transverse thermoelectric materials. Herein, we demonstrate a topological transition-induced giant transverse thermoelectric effect in polycrystalline Mn-doped Mg3+{\delta}Bi2 material, which has a competitively large transverse thermopower (617 uV/K), power factor (20393 uWm-1K-2), magnetoresistance (16600%), and electronic mobility (35280cm2V-1S-1). The high performance is triggered by the modulation of chemical pressure and disorder effects in the presence of Mn doping, which induces the transition from a topological insulator to a Dirac semimetal. The high-performance polycrystalline Mn-doped Mg3+{\delta} Bi2 described in this work robustly boosts transverse thermoelectric effect through topological phase transition, paving a new avenue for the material design of transverse thermoelectricity

    PV3D: A 3D Generative Model for Portrait Video Generation

    Recent advances in generative adversarial networks (GANs) have demonstrated the capabilities of generating stunning photo-realistic portrait images. While some prior works have applied such image GANs to unconditional 2D portrait video generation and static 3D portrait synthesis, there are few works successfully extending GANs for generating 3D-aware portrait videos. In this work, we propose PV3D, the first generative framework that can synthesize multi-view consistent portrait videos. Specifically, our method extends the recent static 3D-aware image GAN to the video domain by generalizing the 3D implicit neural representation to model the spatio-temporal space. To introduce motion dynamics to the generation process, we develop a motion generator by stacking multiple motion layers to generate motion features via modulated convolution. To alleviate motion ambiguities caused by camera/human motions, we propose a simple yet effective camera condition strategy for PV3D, enabling both temporal and multi-view consistent video generation. Moreover, PV3D introduces two discriminators for regularizing the spatial and temporal domains to ensure the plausibility of the generated portrait videos. These elaborated designs enable PV3D to generate 3D-aware motion-plausible portrait videos with high-quality appearance and geometry, significantly outperforming prior works. As a result, PV3D is able to support many downstream applications such as animating static portraits and view-consistent video motion editing.     Preparation and Properties of Masonry Mortar from Spontaneous Combustion Coal Gangue

    To solve the problem of gangue stockpiling, this paper intends to study the feasibility of preparing masonry mortar based on spontaneous combustion gangue. After crushing the spontaneous combustion gangue, the gangue below 4.75 mm was selected, and substituted manufactured sand to prepare masonry mortar in equal quantity. The single factor test method was used to select the replacement rate of spontaneous combustion gangue, water-binder ratio (W/B) and water reducer dosage as variables to explore their effects on the basic properties of fresh mortar mixtures, such as fluidity, apparent density and water retention of fresh mortar, and the mechanical properties of hardened mortar. The anti-frost resistance of gangue mortar was evaluated by a freezing-thawing cycle test. SPSS.20 software was used for variance analysis, and the results showed that the replacement rate of spontaneous combustion gangue, W/B and water reducer dosage on mechanical properties of mortar differences are significant (P < 0.001). With the increase of the replacement rate of spontaneous combustion gangue, the mortar strength decreases, and with the rise of W/B, the mortar strength raises first and then reduces, while with the increase of the water reducer dosage, the mortar strength increases first and then decreases. Spontaneous combustion gangue mortar shows better anti-frost resistance under the freezing-thawing cycle. After 50 freezing-thawing cycles, the maximum mass and strength loss rate of mortar specimens are 2.4 % and 12.67 %, respectively. When the replacement rate of spontaneous combustion coal gangue is 100 %, the mechanical properties and anti-frost resistance of mortar both meet the requirements of the standard and realize the maximum utilization of gangue waste resources.     Ter94 ATPase Complex Targets K11-Linked Ubiquitinated Ci to Proteasomes for Partial Degradation

    SummaryThe Cubitus interruptus (Ci)/Gli family of transcription factors can be degraded either completely or partially from a full-length form (Ci155/GliFL) to a truncated repressor (Ci75/GliR) by proteasomes to mediate Hedgehog (Hh) signaling. The mechanism by which proteasomes distinguish ubiquitinated Ci/Gli to carry out complete versus partial degradation is not known. Here, we show that Ter94 ATPase and its mammalian counterpart, p97, are involved in processing Ci and Gli3 into Ci75 and Gli3R, respectively. Ter94 regulates the partial degradation of ubiquitinated Ci by Cul1-Slimb-based E3 ligase through its adaptors Ufd1-like and dNpl4. We demonstrate that Cul1-Slimb-based E3 ligase, but not Cul3-Rdx-based E3 ligase, modifies Ci by efficient addition of K11-linked ubiquitin chains. Ter94Ufd1-like/dNpl4 complex interacts directly with Cul1-Slimb, and, intriguingly, it prefers K11-linked ubiquitinated Ci. Thus, Ter94 ATPase and K11-linked ubiquitination in Ci contribute to the selectivity by proteasomes for partial degradation

    How Machiavellianism, Psychopathy, and Narcissism Affect Sustainable Entrepreneurial Orientation: The Moderating Effect of Psychological Resilience

    In order to solve increasingly serious environmental problems, sustainable entrepreneurship based on the concept of sustainable development has gradually attracted attention and discussion in the academic field. Moreover, it is of great significance to analyze the influence of personality on entrepreneurial orientation considering dark and bright personality traits. On the basis of existing research, we analyzed the relationships between the three elements of the dark triad (Machiavellianism, psychopathy, and narcissism), psychological resilience, and sustainable entrepreneurial orientation (SEO) through a questionnaire survey. Results involve data from 328 MBA students in Tianjin University of China. The results showed that Machiavellianism and psychopathy negatively affected SEO, and narcissism positively affected SEO; psychological resilience and SEO had a significant positive association; and psychological resilience had a moderating effect on the relationship between the three elements of the dark triad and SEO. Our research has reference value and its findings have important implications for entrepreneurship research and education
