Ambient Rivers Monitoring in the Great Bay Estuary Watershed 2005
The Department of Environmental Services (DES) received funding from the New Hampshire Estuaries Project (NHEP) to conduct monitoring activities in 2005. The activities described in this report were led by the DES Watershed Assistance Section and involved water monitoring in tidal tributaries. Other DES staff conducted laboratory analyses. These monitoring activities were completed with the overall purpose of improving the understanding of water quality trends. The Department of Environmental Services completed all tasks as planned. This report includes the sample collection information, field and laboratory data, and quality assurance information. Data summaries and interpretations will come at a later time in other DES and NHEP publications
A Photographer Develops: Reading Robinson, Rejlander, and Cameron
This study examines the historical emergence of the photographer by turning to the writings of three important photographers of the nineteenth century: Henry Peach Robinson (1830-1901), Oscar Gustave Rejlander (1813-1875), and Julia Margaret Cameron (1815-1879). The photographic works of each of these photographers has been the subject of much historical and interpretive analysis, but their writings have yet to receive significant scholarly attention. It is the claim of this study that this archive opens a new set of questions: What did it mean to claim: “I am a photographer” at photography’s advent? How did these individuals come to identify themselves through a new technology, medium, and practice whose identity itself was constituted by a set of contested and competing techniques, aesthetics, discourses, and critical perspectives? Robinson, Rejlander, and Cameron’s texts speak to the fractious field of early photography and to how that discursive field positioned practitioners in novel ways. This study develops a historically specific and theoretically general conceptualization of the photographer, making a case for the ways this figure can be addressed as an object of study in its own right. This study’s focus on the writings of Robinson, Rejlander, and Cameron constitutes an effort to move beyond the well-plowed field of image analysis towards a consideration of how subjectivity is constituted and shaped by photographic practice

Environmental character and history of the Lake Eyre Basin, one seventh of the Australian continent
One of the world\u27s largest internally drained (endorheic) basins, the 1.14 million km2 Lake Eyre (hydrological) Basin (LEB), covers nearly 15% of the Australian continent. Palaeoclimatic and associated flow regime variations are recorded in an archive of fluvial, aeolian and lacustrine sediments that are particularly accessible for deposits from the past ~ 300 ka, and are especially relevant for the past ~ 50 ka during which humans have inhabited Australia. Due to its great size, economic resources and diverse latitudinal extent, it has for over six decades been the focus of environmental, scientific and resource-based studies across numerous disciplines. With an emphasis on assessing the scientific and environmental research over this period, this paper is divided into four parts: Part A provides an introduction and background. Part B provides the geological history, including evidence of substantial Tertiary and Quaternary climate change. Part C covers the contemporary environmental conditions, and Part D presents a conclusion and summary. This not only represents the first comprehensive review of current knowledge of any of the world\u27s truly large dryland drainage basins, but also highlights how more multi-disciplinary research is required. Key remaining questions revolve around the impact of global weather systems on the LEB; the lake-level story in relation to a more precise picture of Late Quaternary climate change; the role of humans and climate in the demise of the megafauna; modern hydrological changes; the role of vegetation in altering channel morphology and flow efficiencies; and nature of flood transmissions

PENGARUH PARTISIPASI ANGGARAN TERHADAP KINERJA MANAJERIAL DENGAN JOB RELEVANT INFORMATION SEBAGAI VARIABEL MODERASI
The purpose of this research is to analyse whether job relevant information is able to strengthen the relationship between budgeting participation and managerial performance. This study uses Goal Setting Theory and Contingency Approach as the theory. The populations are from all foundations of colleges in Palembang that are registered in Kopertis Wilayah II dan Forlap Dikti. The research sample obtained by 134 respondents. Hypotesis testing is using Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) method with SPSS version 24. The test results showed that job relevant information is not able to strengthen the relationship between budgeting participation and managerial performance.
Keywords: budgeting participation, managerial performance, job relevant information
