Computer vision system illumination module upgrade
Namen diplomskega dela je nadgradnja osvetlitvenega modula obstoječega sistema s strojnim vidom. Posodobljen osvetlitveni modul, ki ga sestavljata svetilo in krmilnik svetila, mora biti mehansko ter električno združljiv z obstoječim sistemom. Zaradi opuščanja proizvodnje trenutno uporabljenih svetlečih diod, ki generirajo svetlobo na svetilu, je treba svetleče diode zamenjati z novimi tipi svetlečih diod, ki so množično v uporabi. Z uvajanjem novih tipov svetlečih diod se kaže potreba po uvedbi sekundarnih in terciarnih optičnih elementov za vodenje in razprševanje svetlobe svetlečih diod. Posodobljen krmilnik svetil je nadgradnja trenutnega krmilnika z možnostjo uporabe z vsemi tipi zgoraj naštetimi svetlečimi diodami.
Za namen analize svetil smo izdelali merilni sistem z uporabo barvne kamere, s katerim smo vrednotili prototipna svetila. Merilni sistem se z manjšimi posodobitvami lahko uporablja v proizvodnem procesu za zagotavljanje kakovosti izdelanih svetil pred integracijo v napravo. Svetilo smo preizkusili na obstoječem sistemu s strojnim vidom in rezultate primerjali s tistimi, pridobljenimi z merilnim sistemom.
Na podlagi izvedenih meritev predlagamo in izdelamo osvetlitveni modul, ki bo nadomestil obstoječi osvetlitveni modul.The aim of this thesis is an upgrade of the illumination module of the existing computer vision system. The upgraded illumination module, which consists of an illuminant and an illumination controller, must be mechanically and electrically compatible with the existing system. Because currently used LEDs are going out of production, LEDs should be replaced by new, more widely used types. With new types of LEDs, there is a need for implementation of secondary and tertiary optical elements in order to guide and diffuse the LED’s light. The upgrade of the illumination controller should enable the use of all the above-mentioned LEDs.
For the purpose of illuminant analysis, we built a measuring system with a color camera to evaluate the prototype illuminants. With minor updates, the existing measuring system can be also used for quality control of the manufactured illuminants before integrating them into the computer vision system. Moreover, an illuminant was tested on the computer vision system and its results were compared with the results obtained by the measuring system.
Based on the performed measurements, we propose to build a new illumination module which will replace the current one
Povezanost med velikostjo podjetja in merljivimi atributi zaposlitvenega oglasa
We explore the relationship between the company’s size and measurable attributes of an employment ad. We were interested in which attributes were most affected by the size of a company and what the relationship between these attributes is. Company size was measured by the number of employees of a company. Attributes, which we used in our study, are: size, color, and price of an employment ad, the number of repetitions and number of applications per job ad. Through our research we also determined the medium which most companies used to publish job advertisements. In the paper, we present the theoretical framework, research results and proposals for further development.Raziskujemo povezavo med velikostjo podjetja in merljivimi atributi zaposlitvenega oglasa. Zanima nas na katere atribute velikost podjetja najbolj vpliva in kakšna je povezanost med samimi atributi. Velikost podjetja smo merili glede na število zaposlenih v podjetju. Atributi, katere smo uporabili v raziskavi so: površina, barva, cena zaposlitvenega oglasa, število ponovitev in število prijav na zaposlitveni oglas. S pomočjo raziskave smo ugotavljali tudi medij, katerega podjetja največ uporabljajo pri objavi zaposlitvenih oglasov. Na podlagi rezultatov v članku predstavljamo, teoretična izhodišča, rezultate raziskave in predloge za nadaljnji razvoj
Razvitost države kot determinanta zgodnje podjetniške aktivnosti
Our study is built on the dependence of early-stage entrepreneurial activity on GDP per capita, GDP real growth rate, unemployment rate, inflation rate, investments and public debt of different countries. We divide the early-stage entrepreneurial activity into necessity-driven and improvement-driven opportunistic entrepreneurial activity. To establish the dependencies we have conducted the regression analyses. Our three main findings are: (a) early-stage entrepreneurial activity does depend on our predictors(b) necessity-driven entrepreneurial activity is negatively correlated to country’s developmentand (c) improvement-driven opportunistic entrepreneurial activity is positively correlated to country’s development.Naša študija raziskuje vzroke zgodnje podjetniške aktivnosti, pri čemer razlikujemo med podjetniško aktivnostjo zaradi potrebe ter priložnostno podjetniško aktivnostjo zaradi izboljšav. Kot možne vzroke zgodnje podjetniške aktivnosti raziskujemo BDP na prebivalca, realno stopnjo rasti BDP, stopnje nezaposlenosti, stopnje inflacije, investicije ter javni dolg različnih držav. Izstopajo sledeči izsledki regresijske analize, izvedene z namenom ugotavljanja soodvisnosti: (a) zgodnja podjetniška aktivnost je odvisna od predvidenih kazalcev(b) priložnostna zgodnja podjetniška aktivnost zaradi potrebe je v negativni korelaciji z razvojem proučevane državeter (c) priložnostna podjetniška aktivnost zaradi izboljšav je pozitivno korelirana z razvojem države
Triggering of mass flows in the Kamniška Bistrica and Sora river basins
Na območjih porečij Kamniške Bistrice in Sore smo analizirali dejavnike, ki vplivajo na proženje masnih tokov – naklon, vzdolžno, prečno in skupno ukrivljenost ter vpliv tipov tal. Cilj naloge je bil dokazati razlike v vplivnih dejavnikih med območjema proženja in odlaganja masnih tokov v obeh porečjih. Zajem poligonov, obdelava, statistična analiza in grafični prikazi masnih tokov so bili opravljeni v programu ArcGIS Pro in programskem okolju R. Uporabljeni so bili ortofoti, posnetki laserskega skeniranja iz let 2014, 2015 in 2023 ter pedološka karta 1 : 25.000. V porečju Kamniške Bistrice je bilo analiziranih 855 masnih tokov, v porečju Sore pa 539. Uporabljen je bil parni t-test, ki je v obeh porečjih za naklon in ukrivljenosti pokazal statistične razlike med območji proženja in odlaganja masnih tokov. Naklon je bil v predelih proženja višji kot v predelih odlaganja. Izračunani podatki skupne ukrivljenosti so pokazali, da je proženje masnih tokov dovzetnejše za območja s pozitivno ukrivljenostjo in odlaganje za negativno ukrivljena pobočja. Masni tokovi so praviloma pogostejši na talnih tipih nekarbonatnih podlag in redkejši na talnih tipih na karbonatni podlagi, a so se v našem primeru zaradi velikih količin prožili tudi na sicer neobičajnih talnih tipih.We analysed factors influencing the mass fluxes – influence of soil types, slope, profile, planform and total curvature in the Kamniška Bistrica and Sora river basins, The aim of this dissertation was to show the differences in influencing factors between areas of mass flow initiation and stopping in the two basins. Polygon capture, processing, statistical analysis and graphs of slope movements were carried out in ArcGIS Pro and R software environment. Orthophotos, laser scanning images (from years 2014, 2015 and 2023) and a 1 : 25,000 pedological map were used. 855 landslides were analysed in the Kamniškak Bistrica basin and 539 in the Sora basin. Paired t-tests showed statistical differences between the mass flow triggering and stopping zones for slope and curvature in both basins. Slope was expectedly higher in the triggering areas than in the stopping areas. Calculated values of total curvature data showed that positively curved surfaces are more susceptible to mass flows, whereas landslides are arrested on negatively curved slopes. Slope movements are generally more frequent on non-carbonate soil types and less frequent on carbonate soil types, but in our case they also occurred on otherwise unusual soil types due to large amounts of rainfall
Brezposelnost in državno subvencioniranje
Unemployment has become more and more pressing matter nowadays. Governments all across the world are implementing policies to increase the employment rates back to the levels before the economic downturn. One of the most important policies implemented by countries governments were employment subsidies, which means that companies got government funding when employing and also that private citizens had the possibility for entrepreneurship stimulus packages. The scope of our study was to determine how the gross domestic product and the government\u27s subsidizing on a country\u27s level affect the number of unemployed on a country level. We have conducted the empirical part of our study on the case of Slovenia and found out that gross domestic product has a bigger effect on the number of unemployed than government\u27s subsidies.Brezposelnost je postala vedno bolj in bolj pereča zadeva. Vlade po vsem svetu izvajajo politike za povečanje stopnje zaposlenosti nazaj na raven pred gospodarsko recesijo. Ena od najbolj pomembnih politik, ki jih izvajajo vlade držav so subvencije za zaposlovanje, kar pomeni, da so podjetja dobivala vladno podporo pri zaposlovanju, pa tudi, da so bile državljanom dane spodbude za podjetniško delovanje. V raziskavi smo ugotavljali, kako bruto domači proizvod in subvencije na ravni celotne države vplivajo na število brezposelnih na ravni države. Empirični del naše raziskave smo izvedli na primeru Slovenije in ugotovili, da je vpliv bruto domačega proizvoda na število brezposelnih večji od vpliva državnih subvencij
Authentic leaders and their employees’ power
Authentic leaders have faith in their employees and that is also the reason why the
delegate more responsibilities on them. That is the reason why we hypothesized that authentic
leaders in fact empower their employees or with other words, they give them power. Through
our research we wanted to understand how being under authentic leadership determines
individual’s formal and informal power in an organization or a company. We recognized a
certain influence of authentic leadership on individual’s informal and formal power
Autentično vođstvo ka budućnosti
Authentic leadership is the latest evolutionary stage in leadership development and emphasizes the leader\u27s authenticity. The construct of authenticity was researched by ancient Greek philosophers as \u27know thy-self \u27, and \u27thy true self \u27. Authentic leadership began to develop after 2004. The main reason why the researchers place so much attention to authentic leadership is fact that authentic leadership reaches all of the employees in organizations. Authentic leaders must identify the strengths of their followers and help them with their development and integration towards a common goal, purpose, vision and identity of the organization. Authentic leadership is seen as the final stage in the development of leadership styles, properties of this leadership style, and the consequences of this style have not been fully explored. In our paper we will explore this new style of leadership and its implications.Autentično rukovodstvo je najnovija evoluciona faza u razvoju rukovodstva koja ističe autentičnost rukovodioca. Tvorevinu autentičnosti istraživali su još grčki filozofi \u27spoznaj sebe\u27 i \u27svoje istinsko sebe\u27. Autentično rukovodstvo je počelo da se razvija posle 2004. Glavni razlog zbog kog istraživači posvećuju toliko pažnje autentičnom rukovodstvu je stoga što autentično rukovodstvo doseže do svih radnika u organizacijama. Autentični rukovodioci moraju identifikovati prednosti svojih sledbenika i pomoći im u njihovom razvoju i integraciji ka zajedničkom cilju, svrsi, viziji i identitetu organizacije. Autentično vođstvo se smatra završnom fazom u razvoju stilova rukovodstva, stoga karakteristike ovog rukovodstvenog stila i njegove posledice još nisu u potpunosti istražene. Image izobraževalne ustanove
This article presents our findings about the factors influencing educational institution\u27s image. Based on the literature review we composed a web questionnaire which was send to all current students at University of Maribor\u27s Faculty of Organizational Studies. Based on our research results we found out that eight factors influence educational institution\u27s image which have various amounts of influence on the educational institutions image. The factor with the most influence is the quality of professors and of their lectures and the second most important factor is the learning content. These two factors come before all of the others in the matter of influencing the educational institutions image. Our basic recommendation is to build on these factors starting with the most important ones first.Članek predstavlja naše ugotovitve o dejavnikih, ki vplivajo na image izobraževalne ustanove. Na podlagi pregleda literature smo sestavili spletni vprašalnik, katerega smo poslali vsem študentom, ki trenutno študirajo na Fakulteti za organizacijske vede Univerze v Mariboru. Glede na rezultate naše raziskave smo ugotovili, da na image izobraževalne ustanove vpliva osem dejavnikov, ki pa imajo različne stopnje vpliva. Dejavnik z največ vpliva je kakovost profesorjev in njihovih predavanj, drugi najpomembnejši dejavnik pa so učne vsebine. Ta dva dejavnika sta glede vpliva na image izobraževalne ustanove pred vsemi ostalimi. Naše osnovno priporočilo je, da naj izobraževalna ustanova gradi na teh dejavnikih, začenši najprej z najpomembnejšimi
