Direct numerical simulation of a compressible multiphase flow through the eulerian approach

This work is part of a long-term project concerning modeling, simulation and analysis of particle-laden turbulent plumes, motivated by the study of the injection of ash plumes in the atmosphere during explosive volcanic eruptions.
