Digital Transformation Management in Retail Organizations
The impact of digital transformation, which is essential for process efficiency at every stage of business, has reached to an undeniable level. Nowadays, companies are not solely investing in traditional items such as physical locations, production, and labor force on the way to growth. The proportion of investment in digital transformation is increasing day by day. For retail companies, digital transformation has become a necessity rather than an option with the evolving technology. Within this perspective, the management of digital transformation in retail organizations is the focus of this research. The objectives of the study were to shed light on the digitalization processes taking place in the Turkish retail industry and to provide suggestions to companies on how to manage this transformation. In addition, it is intended to be a resource for researchers interested in this topic. There is a limited number of studies in the national literature that address the topic of digital transformation management in the retail sector. Therefore, it is expected that the research will contribute to the existing literature
The Relationship between Organizational Identification and Job Satisfaction in Retail Industry
The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between organizational identification and job satisfaction among retail industry employees. Quantitative data was gathered using questionnaires. To ensure the scales' validity, principal component analysis was used. Cronbach alpha values were calculated to assess reliability. Simple regression was used to test the theoretical model hypothesis. The analyses were carried out using the statistical software SPSS. As the result of the analyses performed, the main hypothesis was supported. It has been empirically proven that Organizational Identification has positive effect on Job Satisfaction. Although these two constructs are subjects that have been researched for years, this research adds to the literature by investigating how the job satisfaction of employees working at a particular sector, the national retail industry, is affected within the framework of organizational identification. As a result, the study's findings indicated that further research should be done to improve organizational identification among employees in the retail industry to boost job satisfaction and decrease the risk of leaving
Kadın Çalışanlarda İş Tatmini ve Örgütsel Bağlılık Arasındaki İlişki
In this study the relationship between job satisfaction and organizational commitment in female employees has been examined. The structural equation modelling technique was used to analyze complex models with both direct and indirect relationships. Quantitative data was gathered by utilizing questionnaires. To demonstrate convergence validity, confirmatory factor analysis was used. Composite reliability and AVE scores were calculated to assess the scales' reliability and discriminant validity. The AMOS statistical program's structural equation model method was used to test the hypotheses. Out of six hypotheses, two of them were supported. It has been empirically proven that Internal Job Satisfaction has a direct effect on Affective Commitment and Normative Commitment, where External Job Satisfaction does not have a direct effect on any sub-dimensions of organizational commitment. Although job satisfaction and organizational commitment have been examined individually in many studies, this research focused on female employees working in the service sector while evaluating the relationship between the two concepts in the light of current data.Bu çalışmada, kadın çalışanlarda iş tatmini ile örgütsel bağlılık arasındaki ilişki incelenmiştir. Yapısal eşitlik modelleme tekniği, hem doğrudan hem de dolaylı ilişkilere sahip karmaşık modelleri analiz etmek için kullanılmıştır. Nicel veriler anketler vasıtasıyla toplanmıştır. Yakınsama geçerliliğini göstermek için doğrulayıcı faktör analizinden faydalanılmıştır. Ölçeklerin güvenilirliğini ve ayırt edici geçerliliğini değerlendirmek için bileşik güvenilirlik ve AVE puanları hesaplanmıştır. Hipotezleri test etmek için AMOS istatistik programının yapısal eşitlik modeli yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Altı hipotezden ikisi kabul edilmiştir. İçsel İş Tatmininin, Duygusal Bağlılık ve Normatif Bağlılık üzerinde doğrudan bir etkiye sahip olduğu, Dışsal İş Tatmininin ise örgütsel bağlılığın herhangi bir alt boyutu üzerinde doğrudan bir etkisinin olmadığı ampirik olarak kanıtlanmıştır. Birçok çalışmada iş tatmini ve örgütsel bağlılık tekil olarak incelenmiş olsa da, bu araştırma mevcut veriler ışığında iki kavram arasındaki ilişkiyi değerlendirerek hizmet sektöründe bulunan kadın çalışanlara odaklanmıştır
The effect of technological unemployment anxiety on organizational cynicism
In this research, the effect of technological unemployment anxiety on organizational cynicism has been examined. To collect data questionnaires were utilized. Principal component analysis was employed to ensure the validity of the scales. Cronbach alpha values were calculated to evaluate reliability. The hypotheses were tested by using structural equation modelling method. As the result of the analyses performed, out of nine hypotheses, five of them were supported. It has been empirically proven that Technological Unemployment Anxiety has positive effect on Organizational Cynicism. According to the findings of the analyses, lack of technical skill does not have a direct effect on any dimensions of organizational cynicism; incremental technological improvements have a direct effect on all dimension’s organizational cynicism; technological disruption has a direct effect on affective and cognitive dimensions of organizational cynicism. Although the relationship between organizational cynicism and various theoretical concepts are subjects that have been researched for years, this original research adds to the literature by investigating how organizational cynicism is affected within the framework of technological unemployment anxiety. The study's findings demonstrated the need for additional research to diminish the negative consequences of technological unemployment anxiety.Bu araştırmada teknolojik işsizlik kaygısının örgütsel sinizm üzerindeki etkisi incelenmiştir. Araştırma verisi anketler aracılığıyla toplanmıştır. Ölçeklerin geçerliğini sağlamak için temel bileşenler analizi kullanılmıştır. Güvenilirliği değerlendirmek içinse Cronbach alfa değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Araştırma hipotezleri yapısal eşitlik modelleme yöntemi kullanılarak test edilmiştir. Yapılan analizler sonucunda toplam dokuz hipotezden beş tanesi desteklenmiştir. Teknolojik İşsizlik Kaygısının Örgütsel Sinizm üzerinde pozitif yönlü etkisi olduğu ampirik olarak kanıtlanmıştır. Analizlerden elde edilen bulgulara göre, teknik beceri eksikliğinin örgütsel sinizmin hiçbir boyutu üzerinde doğrudan bir etkisi yoktur; sürekli teknolojik gelişmeler örgütsel sinizmin tüm boyutları üzerinde doğrudan etkiye sahiptir; yıkıcı teknolojik gelişmelerse örgütsel sinizmin duygusal ve bilişsel boyutları üzerinde doğrudan etkiye sahiptir. Örgütsel sinizm ile çeşitli kavramlar arasındaki ilişkiler yıllardır araştırılan konular olsa dahi bu özgün araştırma teknolojik işsizlik kaygısı çerçevesinde örgütsel sinizmin nasıl etkilendiğini inceleyerek alan yazınına katkı sağlamaktadır. Araştırma bulguları, teknolojik işsizlik kaygısının olumsuz sonuçlarını azaltmak için ek araştırmalara ihtiyaç olduğunu göstermiştir.No sponso
