The migration of IPv4 to IPv6 has become a necessity due to the exhaustion of IPv4 addresses, since the IANA in 2011, delivered the last block of IP addresses, is the domain within the area of the Technologies of The information, which is imperative migration from IPv4 to IPv6, however, the questions are Are the public universities ready to perform this migration?, Is the network infrastructure available to carry out this migration? For this reason, the University of Technology Emiliano Zapata of the State of Morelos, carried out the present investigation, whose objective was the development and validation of an instrument to measure the degree of associativity between the migration of IPv4 to IPv6 with the network infrastructure of the Universities of the State of Morelos.
