    UJI TINGKAT KEAWETAN TELUR AYAM TERHADAP BAHAN PERENDAMAN

    This study was carried out in the laboratory of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Balitar Islamic University, since 1 July 2022 until 21 July 2022. This study aimed to determine the concentration of guava leaves and coconut coir extract to maintain the quality of egg. The materials used in this research were eggs, hot water, guava leaves and coconut coir. Eggs are soaked for 1 days (24 hour) with concentration of guava leaves consists of 12%, 18%, and 24%, coconut coir  consists 30%, 40%, and 50% and stored for 21 days. Parameters observed were egg weight reduction, yolk index, albumen index and haugh unit. The experiment designed by Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 6 treatments and 3 replications. Parameters observed were egg weight shrinkage, yolk index, eggwhite index and haugh unit. The data were analyzed by ANOVA continued by Least Significance Different (LSD). The results of analysis of variance showed that soaking eggs using guava leaves and coconut coir extract had no significant effect (P>0,05) on egg yolk index, egg white index, and egg weight reduction.     The research was conducted in Semanding Hamlet Kawedusan Village Ponggok District, Blitar Regency. The purpose of this study was to determine public opinion on the environment of laying chicken farm. The research uses survey research type. The are 433 households with a total population of 2.167 people and there are 12 laying chicken farm with a livestock population of 428.000 heads. The sample 18with a total of 82 respondents. The data in this study were obtained using observation, interviews, and documentation. The analysis technique descriptive. The research results obtained can be described as : viewed from the aspect of air pollution and water sources are not good but the community understands that permits are allowed by community as well as district/city government, employment is very beneficial and the reciprocal relationship between farmers and the community is very important good, the results obtained that the existence of laying chicken farm does not interfere with the community.     PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN JUS KULIT PISANG KEPOK (Musa acuminate) TERHADAP KESUKAAN KEEMPUKAN DAN KANDUNGAN PROTEIN TERHADAP RENDANG DAGING SAPI

    This study aims to determine the effect of adding kepok banana skin juice (Musa Acuminate) on the softness and protein content of beef rendang after cooking. This type of study is experimental with a complete randomized controlled trial (RAL) consisting of 4 treatments 5 times. The treatment used is P0 (0% / 500g meat) as control, P1 (5% / 500g meat), P2 (10% / 500g meat), P3 (15% / 500g meat). The research parameters were the softness of meat and protein after cooking, the data were analyzed using Anova (Variant Analysis) and Duncan further test with 0.05 level. The results of the softness test showed that the addition of kepok banana skin juice (Musa Acuminate) had an effect on the softness with Fhitung greater than Ftabel (3.51> 3.24). the same results produced by protein test analysis results showing Fhitung is larger than Ftabel (34.07> 3.24). Followed by further tests Duncan at the level of 0.05 softness preference test showed that P0, P1, P2 treatment had no real effect, and at P3 treatment there was a significant effect. Further tests of Duncan protein after cooking show that each treatment is very different. It can be concluded that the addition of kepok banana skin juice has a real effect on the tenderness of softness and protein from beef rendang

    The aim of this study was to determine reproductive evaluation of Limosin beef cattle by using artificial insemination mating systems located in Klampok Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City. The results of the study, mean service value per conception (SC) which has a result of 1.55. The mean conception rate (CR) score was 55.5%. The average value of Days Open (DO) has a yield of 123.5 days. The mean value of the Calving Interval (CI) is 372.5 days. The conclusion of this study is the evaluation of the reproduction of Limosin beef cattle using the artificial insemination mating system in Klampok Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City produces good values ​​including the Value of Service per Conception (S / C), Days Open (DO), Clving Interval (CI) while Conception speed value is still low below the average range

    Molase had been used feed additive to cattle adding nutients feed and water. The research was to know effect of molases on carcass, giblet, and abdomen fat. The experiment used 200  Day Old Chicken (DOC) of broiler  strain Cobb, this rearch used analysis of  variance method of design with 4 treatments and 5 replication was observed, there was  P0 = 0% molase, P1 = 1 % molase, P2 = 2% molase and P3 = 3% molase.  The results that showed the molase no real effect (P>0.05) on carcass and giblet, the percentage of carcass producef in the research was 69.75±0.58% to71.05±0.4%, and a giblet of 71.65±2.46% to 75.55±4.01%. However significantly (P<0.05) on abdomen fat, the percentage of abdomen fat research was 1.69±0.033% to 1.86±0.031%.  based on the results, it can be concluded that the ration by using addition molase 1% produced the hight percentage of carcass and giblet, while produced the low abdomen fa

    DIFFERENCES OF LEAVES SAMBILOTO (Andrographis paniculata Sp) EXTRACT ON THE PERFORMANCE AND MORTALITY OF LAYING BREED CHICKEN ON STARTER PHASE

    The purpose of this study is to know the difference of sambiloto leaves (Andrographis paniculata Sp) extract on mortality and performance of the starter phase laying hens. Two hundred and forty laying hens (ages 1-6 weeks) were used in this experiment. It is divided into 4 groups and 6 replays. Treatment is divided into control P0, P1 + 2 gr / kg feed, P2 + 4 gr / kg feed and P3 6gr / kg feed. The observed variables are Mortality, Feed Consumption, Feed Weight Growth and Feed Conversion. Real different Mortality (P>0.05) increased to 10.7037 (P0,P2 and P3) while decreased compared to 10 (P1). Feed Consumption differed very noticeablely (P>0.01) decreased to 8,908 gr/ecr (P3) compared to control (P0), as did 9,438 gr/ecr (P1) and 9,550 gr/ekr (P2). Weight Growth is not affected by treatment (P>0.05). It is very different Feed Conversions (P>0.01) decreased to 3,684 (P3) compared to 4,003 (P2) as well as 3,956 (P0) and 3,978 (P1).     This study aims to determine the public's perception of the laying hens farming business in Sumberasri Village, Nglegok District, Blitar Regency. The material used in this research is people who live close to the laying hens farm environment. The research method used is a survey method, namely by taking a direct approach to the community around the location of the laying hens farm in Sumberasri Village, Kec. Look at Kab. Blitar. Based on the results of research that has been carried out in general, it can be concluded that the results of public perception of laying hens in Sumberasri Village, Nglegok District, Blitar Regency can be viewed from the aspect of smell, and the emergence of flies is actually not good (disturbed) but the community understands it. For water, soil and cage contamination, the community does not feel disturbed if it is handled properly.     Poultry farming, especially broilers, has good prospects and is growing rapidly. As the development of the livestock business will cause various impacts of waste which is a source of pollution. Therefore, it is necessary to examine thoroughly from an environmental and social perspective that involves the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the community's response to the presence of broiler farms.
