The effect of polyethylene glycol (PEG) having amolecular weight of 1000 and 2000 on shellac stability has been investigated in this research. The shellac was shellac wax free, and the solvent was ethanol 96%. Shellac films were prepared by solventevaporationmethod. The stability of shellac was investigated using insoluble solid test, Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR), Thermogravimetry Analyzer (TGA), and Water Vapour Transmission Rate (WVTR). The results showed that stability of shellac decreased after heating at 125oC for 10,30,90,and 180 minutes, and storing for 1 month at 27 oC and 85 relative humidity (RH). PEG improved the stability, and the most stable effect was achieved through PEG1000

Financial Equilibrium models have been widely studied in finance literature especially with respect to asset pricing theories. Validity of CAPM and Preference of APT over CAPM has been interest of academia as well as professionals. This research investigates number of potential factors explaining returns in Turkish markets as suggested by Ross (1980) when presented APT. For this purpose data of Istanbul Stock All exchanges from January 1, 2003 to December 31, 2013 has been used all the listed companies have been considered for this purpose. Our results suggest that in most of portfolios made for purpose of this research has two significant factors explaining returns although most of portfolios were having three orthogonal factors. It was rare that three factors were significantly explaining returns but it was not investigated that what are those factors. The evidence base for the evaluation and management of dizziness

Dizziness presentations pose many clinical challenges. The objective of this study is to broadly summarize the evidence base that supports clinical decisions in dizziness presentations.MEDLINE (1966 to September 2007), Web of Science and The Cochrane Library were searched for articles with clinical relevance on topics concerning dizziness. Additional sources were also searched for clinical practice guidelines. The following information was abstracted from each article: year of publication, journal type, type of article and the topics of the article.Of nearly 3000 articles identified, 1244 articles met the inclusion criteria. The most common article type was a case report or case series, followed by expert opinion or review articles, studies of medical tests and clinical trials. Meta-analyses and systematic reviews were found on benign paroxysmal positional vertigo and Meniere's disease, but only a few other topics. No clinical practice guidelines were found that focus specifically on dizziness. The evidence base for the evaluation and management of dizziness seems to be weak. Future work to establish or summarize evidence in clinically meaningful ways could contribute to efforts to optimize patient care and health care utilization for one of the most common presenting symptoms.Peer Reviewedhttp://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/bitstream/2027.42/78604/1/j.1365-2753.2009.01133.x.pd
