La relación entre eficiencia y nivel de satisfacción en el desarrollo profesional continuo entre docentes

The aim of this study was to identify the level of efficiency among teachers in Bachang Zone and their satisfaction towards online Continuing Professional Development (CPD). The survey has been conducted among 181 respondents in Bachang Zone, Malacca in order to identify the relation between teachers' level of knowledge on ICT  and their satisfaction based on gender and ages. The study showed that teacher who has more knowledge in ICT where have a high satisfaction. However, the comparative analysis found that teachers’ efficiency on ICT was varied by gender, not by age. Meanwhile, the level of CPD satisfaction were significant by gender and age. Therefore, this study suggested that various educational organizations should provide teachers with assistance in ICT and improve the training website system to be more user-friendly and the similar conducted in rural areas also mostly welcomed.El objetivo de este estudio fue identificar el nivel de eficiencia entre los maestros en la zona de Bachang y su satisfacción hacia el Desarrollo Profesional Continuo en línea (CPD). La encuesta se realizó entre 181 encuestados en la zona de Bachang, Malaca, para identificar la relación entre el nivel de conocimiento de los docentes sobre las TIC y su satisfacción en función del género y las edades. El estudio mostró que el profesor que tiene más conocimiento en TIC tiene una alta satisfacción. Sin embargo, el análisis comparativo encontró que la eficiencia de los docentes en las TIC fue variada por género, no por edad. Mientras tanto, el nivel de satisfacción de CPD fue significativo por género y edad. Por lo tanto, este estudio sugirió que varias organizaciones educativas deberían brindar asistencia a los docentes en las TIC y mejorar el sistema del sitio web de capacitación para que sea más fácil de usar y las actividades similares realizadas en las zonas rurales también son bienvenidas

El proceso de aprendizaje en cultura de la cuarta revolución industrial 4.0 (4IR)

This study is focus to emergence of a new technology known as ‘The Fourth Industrial Revolution’ or the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has led to the current development of technology that predicts 50 billion electronic devices will interact with each other. Meeting the challenges of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, all students at the Institute of Higher Education (IPT) need to be prepared with this new era. Accordingly, a study was conducted on 30 students of the Faculty of Information Science and Technology (FTSM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in Bangi, Selangor. This study aims to identify the level of knowledge, willingness and skills among students to pursue the Challenge of Industrial Revolution 4.0. This research is a descriptive study which use Likert scale. The data was analyzed using SPSS software. The findings show that the students’ knowledge level towards the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is at a moderate level. Meanwhile, the study also found that student readiness was at moderate level. The findings also found that the skills level towards the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is at a moderate level. Researchers suggest that students should focus on maintaining the identity, sustainability of the mind, culture and the identity of students in the face of the new National Development and Transformation Plan 2050. Students need to get out of the habit and master the 4C elements of Critical Thinking & Problem Solving, Communication, Collaboration and Creativity.Este está studio enfocado al surgimiento de una nueva tecnología conocida como ‘La Cuarta Revolución Industrial’ o la Revolución Industrial 4.0 ha llevado al desarrollo actual de tecnología que predice que 50 mil millones de dispositivos electrónicos interactuarán entre sí. Al enfrentar los desafíos de la Revolución Industrial 4.0, todos los estudiantes del Instituto de Educación Superior (IPT) deben estar preparados para esta nueva era. En consecuencia, se realizó un estudio en 30 estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias de la Información y Tecnología (FTSM) Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) en Bangi, Selangor. Este estudio tiene como objetivo identificar el nivel de conocimiento, disposición y habilidades entre los estudiantes para perseguir el Desafío de la Revolución Industrial 4.0. Esta investigación es un estudio descriptivo que utiliza la escala Likert. Los datos se analizaron utilizando el software SPSS. Los resultados muestran que el nivel de conocimiento de los estudiantes hacia la Revolución Industrial 4.0 está en un nivel moderado. Mientras tanto, el estudio también encontró que la preparación de los estudiantes estaba en un nivel moderado. Los resultados también encontraron que el nivel de habilidades hacia la Revolución Industrial 4.0 está en un nivel moderado. Los investigadores sugieren que los estudiantes deben centrarse en mantener la identidad, la sostenibilidad de la mente, la cultura y la identidad de los estudiantes frente al nuevo Plan Nacional de Desarrollo y Transformación 2050. Los estudiantes deben salir del hábito y dominar los elementos 4C de Critical Pensamiento y resolución de problemas, comunicación, colaboración y creatividad

Teacher’s acceptance and readiness in implementing Zero Reject Policy (ZRP) in rural school in Malaysia

The Zero Reject Policy (ZRP) was policy introduced by Ministery of Education in Malaysia, December 2018 purposely to adhance the implementation of Education for All Policy in Malaysia. Through this policy Special Education Need (SEN) students were give an opportunity to study in mainstream classes without any rejection. Therefore, this pilot study aims is to identify the level of teacher’s acceptance and readiness among mainstreams teachers in implenting ZRP spesifically in rural school in Malaysia. This quantitative studies involved 120 mainstream teachers whose randomly selected in Kapit, Sarawak. The questionare distributed randomly in 43 primary school teachers in Kapit District and the data analyzed using SPSS V23. The research findings indicated that the level of teachers acceptance and readiness bothly in the moderate level. The top down policy making encougare teachers readiness in implement any new policy. However, the level of readiness also influence by level of acceptance of teachers. Therefore, more exposure about ZRP thru courses and workshop should conducted in order to increase teachers acceptances and readiness to implement ZRP in rural school
