    Induced Pipeline Voltage Near-by Hybrid Transmission Lines

    The aim of this paper is to calculate the induced voltage, nearby hybrid transmission lines. Two hybrid transmission lines are simulated and modeled. The first line is double-circuit operating with ac voltage of 220 kV and bipolar circuit with a dc voltage of ±500 kV, while the second line is with flat configuration operating at 500 kV ac and of ±500 kV. The induced voltage on the pipeline is calculated due the mutual effect of the electric field of these lines. The charge simulation technique and COMSOL computer package are used for calculating the electric field underneath the hybrid lines with and without pipelines and are used to determine the induced voltage on the pipelines. The maximum induced voltage is 9.5 kV for the first line at spacing (S) of 10 m and DC circuit height of 15.7 m against 4.3 kV for height of 24.9 m. The corresponding values for the second line at the same spacing S of 10 m are 7.08 and 3.1 kV for DC circuit heights of 19.1 m and 30 m respectively. The maximum induced voltage on the pipeline is slightly changed due to changing the phase sequence of the AC circuit and the spacing between AC and DC circuits.     Hematological Indices in Chronic Kidney Disease Patients and The Effect of Hemodialysis on These Indices

    Background: Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a major health issue that affects people all over the globe. Hematological problems are connected to varying grades of CKD. Objective: To study the relationship between chronic kidney disease and hematological indices, and to study the effect of hemodialysis on these parameters. Subjects and Methods: At Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Zagazig University, Sharkia, Egypt. we conducted this cross-sectional study in addition to the Nephrology Unit of El-Sahel teaching hospital from May 2019 to February 2020 on 165 subjects categorized into three groups with each group of 55 subjects. Group I included normal healthy persons. Group II involved chronic kidney disease patients not on hemodialysis (NDD-CKD) while Group III included patients on maintenance hemodialysis (DD-CKD). All participants' histories were gathered, with particular attention paid to demographic data and the co-morbid medical conditions as diabetes mellitus and hypertension. Full clinical examination was done including local and systemic examinations. In addition, a complete blood count, urea, and creatinine levels were measured. Results: There is a significant association between CKD and changes in RBCs indices with a significant effect of hemodialysis on these changes. A decrease in the mean platelet count in diseased groups compared with normal ones was revealed. We also found differences between the 3 groups according to WBCs indices with significant changes between the 3 groups in TLC. Conclusion: CKD impacts all hematological parameters and hemodialysis also influence all these parameters

    Image multiplexing using residue number system coding over MIMO-OFDM communication system

    Image transmission over Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) communication system is prone to distortion and noise due to the encountered High-Peak-to-Average-Power-Ratio (PAPR) generated from the OFDM block. This paper studies the utilization of Residue Number System (RNS) as a coding scheme for digital image transmission over Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output (MIMO) – OFDM transceiver communication system. The use of the independent parallel feature of RNS, as well as the reduced signal amplitude to convert the input signal to parallel smaller residue signals, enable to reduce the signal PAPR, decreasing the signal distortion and the Bit Error Rate (BER). Consequently, improving the received Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) and enhancing the received image quality. The performance analyzed though BER, and PAPR. Moreover, image quality measurement is achieved through evaluating the Mean Squared Error (MSE), Peak Signal to Noise Ratio (PSNR), and the correlation values between the initial and retrieved images. Simulation results had shown the performance of transmission/reception model with and without RNS coding implementation.

    A Convolutional Neural Network for Automatic Brain Tumor Detection

    Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) combined with artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms to detect brain tumors is one of the important medical applications.  In this study, a Convolutional neural network (CNN) model is proposed to detect meningioma and pituitary, which was tested with a dataset consisting of two categories of tumors with 1,800 MRI images from several persons. The CNN model is trained via a Python library, namely TensorFlow, with an automatic tuning approach to obtain the highest testing accuracy of tumor detection. The CNN model used Python programming language in Google Colab to detect sensitivity, precision, the area under the PR and receiver operating characteristic (ROC), error matrix, and accuracy. The results show that the proposed CNN model has a high performance in the detection of brain tumors. It achieves an accuracy of 95.78% and a weighted average precision of 95.82%

    Effect of concrete cover thickness and main reinforcement ratio on flexural behavior of RC beams strengthened by NSM-GFRP bars

    Experimental and numerical programs were invoked to investigate the effect of concrete cover and area of main steel reinforcement on the flexural behavior of strengthened RC beams by near-surface mounted glass fiber reinforced polymeric (NSM GFRP) bars of different lengths. Nine beams divided into three main groups were tested under four-point bending. The three beams of the first group were strengthened by different lengths of GFRP bars and having a concrete cover of 50 mm, while the three beams in the second group were strengthened in a similar manner as those of the first group but the concrete cover was 30 mm. The main steel reinforcement in the first and second groups was 2Ø10. The three beams of the third group were similar to those of the first and second group but the main steel reinforcement was 2Ø16. The 3-D FE commercial ANSYS program was used for the numerical work. The experimental results showed that decreasing the concrete cover increased the flexural capacity of the strengthened RC beams but this improvement disappeared by decreasing the NSM GFRP bar length. The RC beams flexural strength increased with increasing area of main steel reinforcement. The numerical results showed an agreement with the experimental results

    Efficient Multivariate Ring Signature Schemes

    Multivariate Cryptography is one of the main candidates for creating post-quantum cryptosystems. Especially in the area of digital signatures, there exist many practical and secure multivariate schemes. However, there is a lack of more advanced schemes, such as schemes for oblivious transfer and signature schemes with special properties. While, in the last years, a number of multivariate ring signature schemes have been proposed, all of these have weaknesses in terms of security or efficiency. In this paper we propose a simple and efficient technique to extend arbitrary multivariate signature schemes to ring signature schemes and illustrate it using the example of Rainbow. The resulting scheme provides perfect anonymity for the signer (as member of a group), as well as shorter ring signatures than all previously proposed post-quantum ring signature schemes

    A Stylistic Study of the Vocative in Relation to its Structure and Meaning: The Holy Quran as a Model

    يُعد أسلوب النّداء من أكثر أبواب النحو استعمالاً في اللسان العربي، لذلك فهو يعد صورةً أساسية من صور الخطاب، الذي يقصد به – في أصل الدلالة - تنبيه المنادَى، بقصد تبليغه خطابًا معينًا، الغالب فيه طلب شيء، أو الامتناع عن شيء، فيبقى المنادَى منتبهًا لما يُطلَب منه.      ورغم أهمية أسلوب النّداء، فإن النحاة من خلال تعرضهم لتحليل جملتيه كان جلُّ اهتمامهم مقصورًا على تساؤل واحد هو: ما عامل النصب في المنادى؟ أهي أداة النّداء بنفسها؟،أم هي نيابة عن الفعل (أدعو أو أنادي)؟.     والملاحظ من كلام النحاة أن أحدًا منهم لم يذكر موقع إعراب (أداة النّداء والمنادى) من الإعراب في السياق العام لجملة النّداء، وما وجه ارتباطها بالجملة التي تليها؟، إذ إن كثيرًا من النحويين عند تعرضهم لجملة النّداء، يذكرون دائمًا أن (يَا) أداة نداء، وما بعدها اسم منادى مبني على الضم أو منصوب، على حسب أحواله من حيث التنكير والتعريف والإضافة، دون التنبيه على وجه ارتباط هذه الجملة بما بعدها، وبمعنى آخر: ما محل إعراب جملة النّداء (أداة النّداء والمنادى)؟ وما وجه ارتباطها بما بعدها؟، وإذا كانت الجملة التي تليها على وشيجة ارتباط بها فما إعرابها؟.     لذلك سنحاول في هذا البحث الاستدلال على أن سياق النّداء عبارة عن جملتين: الأولى: جملة النّداء (أداة النّداء + المنادَى)، والثانية: جملة جواب النّداء، مجازاة لها بجملتي: الشرط، والقسم...، على أن تكون جملة النّداء لا محل لها من الإعراب ابتدائية أو استئنافية، أو لها محل كأن تكون جملة مقول القول بحسب السياق، والجملة التي تلي جملة النّداء - التي نطلق عليها جملة (جواب النّداء)- تكون في محل نصب مفعول به، إمَّا على غرار جملة المفعول به لفعل القول، أو المفعول الثاني للفعل (سأل)، كقولنا: سألتُ الطالبَ: هل أعددتَ الدرسَ؟، وهو بذلك لم يخرج عن كونه أسلوبًا إنشائيًّا طلبيًّا،  كل ذلك عن طريق العرض والتحليل لأنماط جملتي النداء تحليلاً تركيبيًّا دلاليًّا، مطبقًا ذلك على ما ورد في آيات القرآن الكريم.  The vocative style - as a constructional style - is one of the most widely used sections of grammar in the Arabic language, Therefore, it is considered a basic form of speech, which is intended - in the origin of its meaning - to alert the caller, with the intention of conveying to him a specific speech, in which the majority is to request something, or refrain from something, so the caller remains amazed at what is being asked of him..      Despite the importance of the vocative style, the grammarians, through their analysis of its two sentences, were mostly concerned with one question: Is the vocative being in the accusative, so what is the accusative factor in it? Is it the vocative tool itself? Or is it on behalf of the verb (to call?)     Therefore, in this research, we will try to infer that the context of the call consists of two sentences: the first: the call sentence (the call tool + the caller), and the second: the response sentence to the call, replacing it with two sentences: the condition, and the oath..., provided that the call sentence has no place. Of the parsing, it is primary or resuming, or it has a position, such as being the subject sentence of the saying according to the context, and the sentence that follows the vocative sentence - which we call the sentence (answer to the call) - is in the position of the accusative object, either similar to the object sentence of the verb to say, or the direct object. The second is for the verb (he asked), as we say: I asked the student: Have you prepared the lesson?, and thus it does not deviate from being a requesting constructional method, all through the presentation and analysis of the patterns of the two call sentences in a syntactic-semantic analysis, applying that to what is mentioned in the verses of the Holy Qur’an. &nbsp

    The Shortest Signatures Ever

    Multivariate Cryptography is one of the main candidates for creating post quantum public key cryptosystems. Especially in the area of digital signatures, there exist many practical and secure multivariate schemes. In this paper we present a general technique to reduce the signature size of multivariate schemes. Our technique enables us to reduce the signature size of nearly all multivariate signature schemes by 10 to 15 % without slowing down the scheme significantly. We can prove that the security of the underlying scheme is not weakened by this modification. Furthermore, the technique enables a further reduction of the signature size when accepting a slightly more costly verification process. This trade off between signature size and complexity of the verification process can not be observed for any other class of digital signature schemes. By applying our technique to the Gui signature scheme, we obtain the shortest signatures of all existing digital signature schemes

    Effects of gamma irradiation on salted and frozen mullet fish during storage period

    The objective of the present study was to investigate the influence of gamma irradiation on decontamination of microbial loud of salted and frozen mullet fish. Mullet fish samples were divided into two groups: The first group was frozen at – 20C° and the second group was dry salted with ordinary commercial refined salt at ratio 1 kg fish / 0.8 kg. Each group was subjected to 0, 2.5 and 5 kGy of gamma irradiation doses before storage period. The results showed that, gamma irradiation hadn’t any significant (P?0.05) effects on the chemical composition and minerals content of mullet fish samples under investigation. Gamma irradiation doses (2.5 and 5.0 kGy) had not significant remarkable effect at P?0.05 on sensory properties (appearance, odor, texture and color) of dry and frozen mullet fish samples neither at zero time nor during storage periods. Microbial aspects (total bacterial counts, coliform bacteria, salmonella, sporeforming bacteria and total molds and yeasts) were detected. Also it could be concluded that, gamma irradiation had a significant (P?0.05) decrease effects on microbial loud and improve the microbiological safety of salted and frozen mullet fishes without any adverse effects on their chemical contents and quality.
