    THERMAL AND RHEOLOGICAL BEHAVIOR OF A NEW HYBRID NANOCOMPOSIT BASED ON A NEW TETRAFONCTIONAL PRE-POLYMER / MDA / NTC

    We have synthesized in this work a new tetrafunctional epoxy prepolymer in two steps for the formulation of a new hybrid microcomposite with NTC as a load.In a first step we synthesized the TBDGEBA based on tetrabromo of Bisphenol A for this purpose. In a second step, we proceeded to the chemical modification of this bifunctional pre-polymer precursor of TGEDADPTBBA by aniline as nucleophilic reagent which led to the synthesis of a tetrafunctional epoxy polymer TGEDADPTBBA. This epoxy prepolymer was then thermally crosslinked with methylene dianiline (MDA) in the presence of CNT based load in order to obtain new nano-composite materials at different percentages. The thermal study of these composite composites was studied by thermogravimetric analysis while the rheological characterization of the nanocomposites was carried out through the use of a RHM01-RD HAAKE rheometer

    Optimization of experimental parameters in the treatment of textile effluents charged by the red cibacrone using the experimental design method

    We treated, in this study, textile effluents loaded with red reactive dye cibacrone by complexation using anion resin (RA A500) as substrate. From the values obtained by the experimental studies, we were able to optimize the treatment process (complexation) using the method of experimental designs using the Nemrodw software. The results concerning the theoretical parameters, allowed us to give better treatment by complexation (RA A500, Red Cibacrone) in optimal conditions, namely: the temperature in the range (20 °C), mass RA A500 order (0.2 g), the time of the order (120 min) and the pH of the order (10.5)

    A hybrid identification and tracking of Lagrangian mesoscale eddies

    International audienceAutomatic identification and tracking of mesoscale eddies are crucial in large oceanic observational and numerical model data. This work proposes a fully automated method that identifies and tracks from a single Lagrangian advection, all mesoscale eddies, without prior knowledge of their lifespans. The eddies' detection and tracking use a hybrid method based on geometrical properties of the evolving velocity along Lagrangian trajectories and a grid density-based clustering algorithm. The high eddies' monitoring capacity of the proposed method is demonstrated by automatically identifying and tracking these structures from two different datasets: satellite-derived surface geostrophic velocity fields and a two-dimensional fluid simulation. The proposed approach gives complete dynamical features and evolution of the detected mesoscale eddies by identifying their genesis event, monitoring their coherent core, and describing their splitting and vanishing image

    In Vivo modulation of integrin linked kinase using transgenic mice

    Alterations in glomerular podocyte cell-cell and cell-matrix contacts are key events in progressive glomerular failure. Integrin-linked kinase (ILK) has been implicated in podocyte cell matrix interaction and is induced in proteinuria. To evaluate ILK function in vivo, mice with a Cre-mediated podocyte-specific ILK inactivation were generated. These animals appeared normal at birth, but developed progressive focal segmental glomerulosclerosis and died in terminal renal failure. The first ultrastructural lesion seen at onset of albuminuria are glomerular basement membrane (GBM) alterations with a significant increase in true harmonic mean GBM thickness. Podocyte foot processes effacement and loss of slit diaphragm followed with progression to unselective proteinuria. No significant reduction of slit-membrane molecules (podocin and nephrin), key GBM components (fibronectin, laminins and collagen IV isoforms) or podocyte integrins could be observed at onset of proteinuria. However, alpha3-integrins were relocalized into a granular pattern along the GBM, consistent with altered integrin mediated matrix assembly in ILK-deficient podocytes. As the increased GBM thickness precedes structural podocyte lesions and key components of the GBM were expressed at comparable levels to controls, our data imply an essential role of ILK for the close interconnection of GBM structure and podocyte function

    Aquesta tesi pretén analitzar el paper de l'emigrant marroquí en la construcció de la marca Marroc com a destinació turística. Per aconseguir aquest objectiu, aquest estudi proposa, primer, desenvolupar un model conceptual que permeti comprendre el paper de la població emigrant en la construcció de la marca dels seus llocs d'origen. Segon, determinar els aspectes clau del paper de l'emigrant marroquí resident a Espanya en la construcció de la marca Marroc. Finalment, analitzar els principals atributs de la marca Marroc que transmeten els emigrants, i les seves percepcions sobre la seva influència a l'hora de formar la marca Marroc com a reclam turístic. Els resultats demostren que l'emigrant marroquí destaca els atributs emocionals per sobre dels funcionals quan tracta de caracteritzar el seu país, també posen de manifest que la seva influència és forta, en la construcció de la marca del seu país, llançant un missatge positiu, clar i consistent.Esta tesis pretende analizar el papel del emigrante marroquí en la construcción de la marca Marruecos como destino turístico. Para lograr este objetivo, este estudio propone, primero, desarrollar un modelo conceptual que permita comprender el papel de la población emigrante en la construcción de la marca de sus lugares de origen. Segundo, determinar los aspectos clave del papel del emigrante marroquí residente en España en la construcción de la marca Marruecos. Por último, analizar los principales atributos de la marca Marruecos que transmiten los emigrantes, y sus percepciones sobre su influencia a la hora de formar la marca Marruecos como reclamo turístico. Los resultados demuestran que el emigrante marroquí destaca los atributos emocionales por encima de los funcionales cuando trata de caracterizar su país, también ponen de manifiesto que su influencia es fuerte, en la construcción de la marca de su país, lanzando un mensaje positivo, claro y consistente.This Ph.D thesis seeks to analyse the role of Moroccan emigrants’ in the construction of Morocco brand as a tourist destination. To do so, firstly, this study proposes a conceptual model to understand the role of emigrant population in the construction of their places of origin’s brand. Secondly, it determines the key aspects of the role played by Moroccan emigrants living in Spain in the construction of the Morocco brand. Finally, it analyses the main attributes of the Morocco brand transmitted by Moroccan emigrants, and their perceptions of their influence on the Morocco brand as a tourist destination. The findings sum up that Moroccan emigrants highlight emotional attributes more than functional ones to characterise Morocco. Our data also show that Moroccan emigrants think that they exert a strong influence on the construction of their country brand, and that their message of their country is positive, clear and consistent

    The objective of our work consists in synthesizing a new bifunctional epoxy resin in which the aromatic radical matrix contains connections (C = C, C = N, CC and CS) by two stages. In the first course, we obtained the precursor molecule of the epoxy matrix (6- (4-chlorophenyl) -5-ethoxy-4-methyl-1, 6-dihydropyrimine-2-thiol) .The second stage tended to functionalize the latter by the epichlorohydrin. The microscopic characterization of the synthesized resin was: confirmed by the Infra-red Fourier transform (FTIR) and the nuclear magnetic Resonance (NMR), on the one hand, while the parameter of viscosity was evaluated on the other hand

    Équivalents dynamiques pour l'étude de la stabilité transitoire

    Les études de la stabilité transitoire (ST) sont aujourd’hui un outil indispensable pour la prévision du comportement des réseaux électriques à l’occurrence des grands défauts (ex : foudre, court-circuit triphasé, perte de générateurs). Toutefois, l’accroissement rapide de la taille et de la complexité des réseaux électriques rendent ces études (ST) très consommatrices en effort et en temps de calcul. La problématique de ce mémoire est donc : comment réduire le temps et l’effort de calcul des programmes (ST) sans pour autant altérer la précision des résultats obtenus à l’aide de ces programmes? Pour résoudre cette problématique, une revue de littérature initiale a été effectuée. Cette revue de littérature a permis de constater que les techniques de réduction des réseaux électriques, visant à réduire le temps d’exécution des études (ST), ont été mise au point il y a longtemps. Ces techniques ont l’objectif commun de réduire la durée et l’effort de simulation des programmes (ST) tout en préservant le même comportement dynamique du réseau d’origine. À partir de cette revue de littérature, une méthode de réduction des réseaux électriques se déroulant en 4 temps a été proposée: Dans un premier temps, les zones internes et externes du réseau électriques sont choisies. Dans un deuxième temps les générateurs de la zone externe du réseau pouvant être regroupés ensemble sont identifiés à l’aide de la méthode de la cohérence lente en plus d’une étape de simulation temporelle (ST). Dans un troisième temps, les paramètres dynamiques des machines du réseau équivalent sont calculés à l’aide de la méthode de la préservation de la structure qui est une méthode pouvant être utilisée dans le cas des modèles classiques ou détaillés des réseaux électriques. Dans un quatrième temps, la matrice admittance du réseau équivalent est calculée à l’aide de la méthode de Zhukov. La méthode proposée a été ensuite implémentée sous la forme de fonctions Matlab©. Ces fonctions ont été validées dans le cas de programmes (ST) et (SIME) pour le cas des deux réseaux tests suivants: « New England » 10 machines 39 barres dans son modèle classique et détaillé, et IEEE 50 machines 145 barres dans sa représentation classique. Le logiciel commercial PSSE© a été également utilisé pour la validation des résultats. Les fonctions d’agrégation réalisées ont permis d’augmenter considérablement la vitesse d’exécution des programmes (ST) et (SIME) tout en gardant une très bonne précision des résultats de ces programmes

    How well mesoscale eddies are represented in oceanic models?

    International audienceThe aim of this work is to assess the impact of data assimilation on the dynamics of mesoscale eddies. We do this based on the use of a recent mathematical method from nonlinear dynamics field that is capable of detecting Lagrangian eddies from birth to death. We apply this method on two composites time series of two configurations covering the whole globe, with and without assimilation, and carry on various statistical analysis to evaluate the impact of data assimilation on several properties of these Lagrangian mesoscale eddies
