The use of cranberry for prevention of Urinary tract infection

Background and Aims:Urinary tract infection is a bacterial infection that affects any part of the urinary tract. Antibiotics can be used for prevention of recurrent urinary tract infection,and due to the adverse effects of chemical medicines including allergen effects, resistance creation to bacteria and toxicity cases, herbal treatment have been noticed alternatively. This study aimed to identify effective herbal drugs on preventing urinary tract infection.
