    The results of the research, which was conducted in 2015 among the students and pupils of the Orel region with the purpose to identificate the Patriotic qualities among the representatives of the youth, are presented in the article. A comparative analysis of different age categories (8-graders (14–15 years), 11th graders (16–17 years) and University students (18–22 years) was made on the grounds of the results of the research. It shows a reduction in the level of patriotism at student age. We need to find fundamentally new ways for the effective solution of the problem of patriotic purposefulness of young people, whose will not lead to losing the Patriotic qualities with age, but to its increase and multiplication.В статье приведены результаты исследования, проведенного в 2015 году среди студентов и школьников Орловской области с целью выявления у представителей молодёжи патриотических качеств. По результатам исследования сделан сравнительный анализ развитости патриотических качеств в разных возрастных категориях (8-классники (14–15 лет), 11-классники (16–17 лет) и студенты (18–22 года) и выявлено их снижение к студенческому возрасту. Для эффективного решения проблемы патриотической направленности молодёжи требуется искать принципиально новые пути, которые будут приводить не к потере уже имеющихся патриотических качеств с возрастом, а к их усилению и преумножению

    NEW VARIETY OF WINTER BARLEY ‘EREMA’

    Barley is one of the basic grain forage crop. About 80% of the barley yields are used as forage. Russia ranks second in the barley production after the EC-27 countries. The Southern Federal District, where Rostov region is located, produces 15% of total barley production in Russia. The hybridization of varieties tolerant to winter, drought, lodging and diseases is one of the main task of winter barley breeding in All-Russian Research Institute of Grain Crops after I.G. Kalinenko. The article considers morphological and economic-biological characteristics of the new winter barley cultivar ‘Erema’, hybridized in the department of breeding and seed-growing of winter and spring barley of ARRI of Grain Crops after I.G. Kalinenko using the method of intraspecific complex gradual hybridization.  The new cultivar was included in the State Register of Selection Achievements of RF in 2015 for six regions. The variety is used for forage. The type of the development is winter. ‘Erema’ is characterized by high features of winter tolerance, resistance to lodging and productivity. During variety testing (2012-2014) the average productivity of the cultivar was 6,9 t/ha, which was 1,2 t/ha more than the standard variety ‘Master’ produced. Introduction of winter wheat variety ‘Erema’ will allow stabilizing grain production in the south of Russia

    The screening of spring barley varieties with various ecological and geographical origins

    Barley is one of the main agricultural crops which is widely used in agriculture. The crop has been cultivated since tillage started. Nowadays the purpose of the selection of barley varieties is to improve the quality and nutrients of grain, its forage advantages and technological properties. But it’s necessary to look for and study all new samples of the collection of ARIPB and other institutions to combine all essential traits in one variety. The breeding of new varieties can become successful only if genetically various initial materials that determine advantages and disadvantages of future varieties are available and widely used. The purpose of our study was to assess economically valuable traits of the collection of spring barley varieties. The study was conducted in the fields of the laboratory for barley breeding and seed-growing in FSBSI “Agricultural Research Center ‘Donskoy” (the years of 2014-2016). 167 varieties and samples of spring barley have been studied. The varieties with a complex of valuable traits and properties have been selected. The varieties ‘Manych 121’ (ARRIGC, Russia) and ‘Odessky 22’ (OSSI, Ukraine) possess a shorter period of vegetation than the standard variety ‘Preazovsky 9’ (2 days shorter). The productivity of the variety ‘Zernogradsky 203’ (ARRIGC, Russia) was 6.5 t/ha (the largest one), the variety ‘Bin’ (Sverdlov region, Russia) produced 6.7 t/ha, the variety ‘Rakhat’ (Tatarstan) produced 6.9 t/ha and the variety ‘Gonar’ (Belarus) produced 6.7 t/ha. The varieties ‘Zernogradsky 35 (Rostov region, Russia), ‘Zernogradsky 73’ (Rostov region, Russia), ‘Talovsky 9’ (Voronezh region, Russia), ‘Kamyshinsky 23’ (Volgograd region, Russia), ‘Chelyabinsky 96’ (Chelaybinsk region, Russia), ‘Дзiвосны’ (Belorus), ‘Gonar’ (Germany) and ‘Viking’ (Germany) possess the largest amount of protein in kernels (more than 13.0%)

    PERSONALIZED APPROACH TO TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION OF CARDIOVASCULAR PATIENTS (ON THE MATERIALS OF ARTERIAL HYPERTENSION AND HEART FAILURE)

    Aim. To evaluate the experience of the usage of Pantogam active (PIQ-PHARMA LLC,Russia) under the concept of personalized approach to correction of cognitive and emotional (anxiety and depression) disorders in arterial hypertension (AH) and chronic heart failure (CHF).Material and methods. The analysis has been done, of three recent trials came out with the results showing efficacy of D-,L-Hopanthenic/rac-Hopanthenic acid (Pantogam active compound for non-cardiac pathology (AH and CHF). The endpoints of efficacy control were the grade of cognition reduction, emotional correction (anxiety and depression), life quality improvement. Also, the influence of the drug was evaluated, on the parameters of cardiovascular system. Results. In the 3 studies, totally 232 patients participated, with cardiovascular diseases (CVD), of those 147 were controls. Duration of Pantogam active intake lasted for 4 to 12 weeks. Responders by the parameter of cognitive function were 78-100%, for emotional disorders — to 88%, for life quality improvement — 86%. Tolerance of the therapy was evaluated as good, and minimal side effects were reduced within the first week of treatment.Conclusion. Application of Pantogam active for complex treatment of AH and CHF patients leads to correction of comorbid cognitive and emotional disorders, with the absence of tolerance, hyperstimulation and withdrawal syndrome, improves life quality, contributes to therapy effectiveness of main CVD and improvement of cardiovascular parameters (blood pressure, heart rate variability, exercise tolerance)
