Aspek Alam Sebagai Bagian Therapeutic Architecture Pada Rumah Sakit Ketergantungan Obat
We shape our building, thereafter they shape us”.
How prior knowledge of LGB identities alters the effects of workplace disclosure
© 2017 Elsevier Inc. Decisions to reveal one\u27s sexual orientation are assumed to be a volitional choice. Prior research has shown, however, that people often learn about the lesbian, gay, or bisexual (LGB) identities of others through indirect means, such as gossip and stereotypical cues (Ambady, Hallahan, & Conner, 1999; Colgan, Creegan, McKearney, & Wright, 2007). We conduct two studies to determine the effects of these forms of prior identity-related knowledge on disclosure outcomes. First, a pre-test of study assumptions demonstrates that recipients of minority sexual orientation disclosures often have prior knowledge of those identities. Second, a survey study examining the target\u27s perspective finds that LGB people often suspect when others have prior knowledge of their identities, and this expected prior knowledge moderates the relationship between identity-management and subsequent experiences of discrimination. Lastly, a lab experiment manipulating the level of prior identity-related knowledge establishes that this information directly influences interpersonal workplace outcomes of disclosures through perceptions of awkwardness but not through liking. Together, these studies demonstrate support for our model of prior identity-related knowledge and highlight the importance of examining both prior identity-related knowledge as well as identity management strategies in predicting LGB workplace experiences
EVALUASI KUALITAS VISUAL DAN FUNGSIONAL RUMPUT LAPANGAN SEPAKBOLA
ABSTRACT Soccer is one of the popular sport around the world. Nowaday, Indonesia has more or less 170 soccer fields. Soccer requires fileds with excellent turfgrass which comply quality standards. This study was aimed to evaluate visual and functional qualities of soccer field, and propose recommendations related to management of soccer field that can fulfill visual and functional qualities. This study was conducted at three soccer stadiums namely Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (Jakarta), Si Jalak Harupat Stadium (Bandung), and Maguwoharjo Stadium (Yogyakarta). Survey and sampling methods were used together with interview method. Sampling based on parameter of visual and functional qualities. Then, analyzed by compare the data with standard quality. Planting medium and leaves samples has taken to laboratory analyzed. Grass quality of Maguwoharjo Stadium has the lowest quality than the others because the shortage of fertilizer condition in planting medium. Consequently, it affected grass growth and performance. Bades on the existing problems, some improvements of planting medium fertility were needed to get the optimal growth and performance in Maguwoharjo Stadium, such as adding the lime and compost or zeolit into planting media to increase the soil pH and CEC (Cation Exchange Capacity). Keywords: Fertilizing, mowing, planting medium, soccer grass field, visual and functional qualitie
Generation of the millisecond electron beam at forevacuum
The possibility of generation of a quasicontinuous electron beam with pulse duration up to 4.2 ms from arc discharge plasma in the forevacuum pressure range is presented. It is shown, that the voltage-current characteristic of the forevacuum plasma electron source generating millisecond electron beam has a "classical" form for electron sources with a plasma cathode
PENGARUH REKAYASA MEDIA TANAM DAN PEMANGKASAN TERHADAP KUALITAS VISUAL DAN FUNGSIONAL RUMPUT Zoysia matrella
Excellent condition of soccer field was influenced by grass condition as primary factor. Indonesian soccer field which is have international standard used manila grass (Zoysia matrella). At the moment, management of soccer field does not have any standard which can be use as reference. This research was aimed to study influence of difference composition planting medium, fertilizing, and mowing on the grass growth to fulfill the quality standars of visual and functional soccer field’s grass, and give recommendation of manila grass management related to planting medium, fertilizing, and mowing. This research conducted in University Farm of Bogor Agricultural University which located in Loji, Sindang Barang, West Bogor. Methods that used was planted the grass in plot area and gave the treatment according to experimental design. Observation data analysed by randomize group design with three factors to know the interaction of treatment to grass growth seen from visual and functional qualities parameter. The result shows interaction of three treatment factors was not significant. Significant influence was only detected in one or two treatment factors, but the significant influence was not seen at all in each observation variables. It was recommended for manila turfgrass using medium of sand, fertilizing 5 g/m2N, 2,5 g/m2 P2O5, and 2,5 g/m2 K2O once a months, and mowing at height of 2 c

A baseline for the genetic stock identification of Atlantic herring, Clupea harengus, in ICES Divisions 6.a, 7.b-c
Atlantic herring in International Council for Exploration of the Sea (ICES) Divisions 6.a, 7.b-c comprises at least three populations, distinguished by temporal and spatial differences in spawning, which have until recently been managed as two stocks defined by geographical delineators. Outside of spawning the populations form mixed aggregations, which are the subject of acoustic surveys. The inability to distinguish the populations has prevented the development of separate survey indices and separate stock assessments. A panel of 45 single-nucleotide polymorphisms, derived from whole-genome sequencing, were used to genotype 3480 baseline spawning samples (2014-2021). A temporally stable baseline comprising 2316 herring from populations known to inhabit Division 6.a was used to develop a genetic assignment method, with a self-assignment accuracy greater than 90%. The long-term temporal stability of the assignment model was validated by assigning archive (2003-2004) baseline samples (270 individuals) with a high level of accuracy. Assignment of non-baseline samples (1514 individuals) from Divisions 6.a, 7.b-c indicated previously unrecognized levels of mixing of populations outside of the spawning season. The genetic markers and assignment models presented constitute a 'toolbox' that can be used for the assignment of herring caught in mixed survey and commercial catches in Division 6.a into their population of origin with a high level of accuracy

Neural Systems Underlying RDoC Social Constructs: An Activation Likelihood Estimation Meta-Analysis
Neuroscientists have sought to identify the underlying neural systems supporting social processing that allow interaction and communication, forming social relationships, and navigating the social world. Through the use of NIMH’s Research Domain Criteria (RDoC) framework, we evaluated consensus among studies that examined brain activity during social tasks to elucidate regions comprising the “social brain”. We examined convergence across tasks corresponding to the four RDoC social constructs, including Affiliation and Attachment, Social Communication, Perception and Understanding of Self, and Perception and Understanding of Others. We performed a series of coordinate-based meta-analyses using the activation likelihood estimate (ALE) method. Meta-analysis was performed on whole-brain coordinates reported from 864 fMRI contrasts using the NiMARE Python package, revealing convergence in medial prefrontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex, posterior cingulate cortex, temporoparietal junction, bilateral insula, amygdala, fusiform gyrus, precuneus, and thalamus. Additionally, four separate RDoC-based meta-analyses revealed differential convergence associated with the four social constructs. These outcomes highlight the neural support underlying these social constructs and inform future research on alterations among neurotypical and atypical populations
Protective immune trajectories in early viral containment of non-pneumonic SARS-CoV-2 infection
The antiviral immune response to SARS-CoV-2 infection can limit viral spread and prevent development of pneumonic COVID-19. However, the protective immunological response associated with successful viral containment in the upper airways remains unclear. Here, we combine a multi-omics approach with longitudinal sampling to reveal temporally resolved protective immune signatures in non-pneumonic and ambulatory SARS-CoV-2 infected patients and associate specific immune trajectories with upper airway viral containment. We see a distinct systemic rather than local immune state associated with viral containment, characterized by interferon stimulated gene (ISG) upregulation across circulating immune cell subsets in non-pneumonic SARS-CoV2 infection. We report reduced cytotoxic potential of Natural Killer (NK) and T cells, and an immune-modulatory monocyte phenotype associated with protective immunity in COVID-19. Together, we show protective immune trajectories in SARS-CoV2 infection, which have important implications for patient prognosis and the development of immunomodulatory therapies
