Przedstawiono metod臋 oznaczania olej贸w za pomoc膮 spektrofotometrii absorpcyjnej w nadfiolecie. Przeprowadzono badania maj膮ce na celu dobranie sta艂ego 艣rodka sorpcyjnego charakteryzuj膮cego si臋 wysokim wsp贸艂czynnikiem odzysku tych substancji. Wyznaczone warto艣ci wsp贸艂czynnik贸w odzysku s膮 bliskie warto艣ci 100%, a warto艣ci odchylenia standardowego i wsp贸艂czynnik贸w zmienno艣ci 艣wiadcz膮 o precyzji metody. Wzgl臋dne b艂臋dy przypadkowe warto艣ci 艣redniej U'A wsp贸艂czynnik贸w odzysku s膮 mniejsze, ni偶 10%, co 艣wiadczy o przydatno艣ci metody do tego typu oznacze艅.At present, there are no testing methods in the country which would permit to evaluate protective gloves, regarding their resistance to glue/adhesive permeability. At present, the efficacy of gloves' protection levels against chemical substances is assessed experimentally, in accordance with a normalized procedure, described in PN-EN 374-3:2005 standard. Taking into consideration the fact that hydrocarbons are the main oil components, neither gas nor water-based collecting medium can be used in a permeability chamber. In this situation, a selection of an appropriate solid medium would seem an optimal solution. However, neither accurate testing procedures nor result calculation methods have been designed and adapted for this particular purpose. The goal of the study was an evaluation of the analytical parameters of the designed test procedure and the definition of the attributes of the obtained statistical results. The scope of the study included a selection of solid collecting media and of reference oils; an optimization of reference oil sorption process on the selected solid medium, sample extraction methods and a quantitative estimation of the relation expressed by the recovery index. The results indicate that the designed method is appropriately precise and accurate, which is evidenced by the small values of the relative chance error of the U'A mean value. The determined values of recovery indices are close to 100%, while SD and variation index values are indicative of the method's precision. Relative random errors of the U'A mean value of recovery indices are < 10%, which is the best evidence for the usefulness of the method for such measurements
