Mechanical Fastener Pull-out in Recycled Plastic Lumber

The purpose of this paper is to present test results for the examination of mechanical fastener pull-out in plastic lumber. The testing was performed on both 1 Od galvanized steel nails, nominally 3 long and 0.148 in diameter, and No. 10 flathead low-carbon steel screws, nominally I long. l x6 Trimax plastic lumber, produced by US Plastic Lumber, was used for all testing.
