Application des diodes laser infrarouges accordables à deux problématiques (la métrologie de polluants)

La spectroscopie d'absorption infrarouge par diode laser accordable permet d'allier sensibilité, sélectivité et résolution temporelle élevées. Nous avons appliqué cette technique à la mesure de polluants atmosphériques en traces et à la cinétique de réactions élémentaires en phase gazeuse. En métrologie, nous avons développé un protocole original et performant : mesure par augmentation de pression. Il a été appliqué à la mesure en protoxyde d'azote, en formaldéhyde, en acétaldéhyde et en 1,3-butadiène, dans l'air ou les gaz d'échappement automobile. Ce travail représente un premier pas vers l'élaboration d'un instrument de terrain compact et transportable. Le dispositif de cinétique, où les réactions sont initiés par photolyse laser, a été validé par l'étude des réactions des radicaux formyle et hydroxyméthyle avec l'oxygène. ‘And she flies! Beautiful’: the dislocating geography of football sound

The overarching interest of this paper is in articulating the affective conditions of football’s play. It undertakes this through a consideration of the sonorous dimension of football, mapping its sounds across a framework borrowed from recent writings on sound-art and sonic geography. Specifically it considers a continuum articulated by Will Scrimshaw (in relation to sound art exploring spatial notions), between sounds-of-place and sound-as-a-place. It then places sounds produced in football-play across this continuum, to see whether football’s sonic practices can be more finely articulated through doing so, and might in turn shed light on its affective conditions
