Les Anthophores de la région des Aurès (nord-est de l’Algérie) (Hymenoptera : Apidae : Anthophorini)
peer reviewedAnthophorini from the Aures Region (northeastern Algeria) (Hymenoptera: Apidae). The diversity and ecology of wild bees of the tribe Anthophorini (Hymenoptera: Apidae) in Algeria are still poorly known. This work is seeking to develop an inventory of existing species in the region of the Aures (north-east of Algeria). Thirty-three species have been identified of which six are new to the country: Anthophora (Anthophora) punctilabris (PĂ©rez, 1879), A. (Dasymegilla) quadrimaculata Panzer, 1798, A. (Lophanthophora) mucida (Gribodo, 1873), A. (Petalosternon) extricata Priesner, 1957, A. (Petalosternon) moricei Friese, 1899, and A. (Paramegilla) dubia Eversmann, 1852. The species status of Amegilla (Zebramegilla) magnilabris (Fedtchenko, 1875) is shortly discussed
