    Specific Nature of Spatial Awareness Formation of the Bachelor of Technical Higher Education Institution of Ukraine During the Basic Course

    A formed spatial awareness is one of the main professionally important quality of a young professional, a graduate of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and higher technical education institutions. The carried out analysis of graphical preparation in the process of school studying has allowed to ascertain that enrollees of basic technical specialties are prepared not at sufficient level, the spatial awareness is formed at a low level. The shortlisting of future students on the ground of the availability of elementary spatial awareness is not conducted. The formation of spatial awareness of students during the basic course in higher technical education institutions of Ukraine is rested exclusively on instructors. As a result of the literature sources and normative documentation analysis, we have developed a structural-stage model of the process of spatial awareness formation of a bachelor of higher technical education institutions which includes the initial, basic and professional stages. There were defined problems in the first stage of training at the level of basic knowledge of the spatial awareness, and was suggested to begin studying with consideration and solving of problems on the plane with the subsequent transfer of the solution to the spatial model. The transfer to the inverse process can be accomplished only after full understanding of the interrelation of the carried out geometric actions and learning the techniques and methods of solving metric and positional problems with two and three-dimensional figures. A logframe of classes conduction and measures for its realization have been developed. Carried out experimental investigations in regards to application of the specified approach in the training process have made it possible to increase the level of formation of the basic level of spatial awareness at the beginning of training

    Solar Cooling for Mediterranean Region as a Crop Storage Technology

    The Mediterranean region is a major supplier of fruits and vegetables to Europe. Fruit harvesting continues the year round, including certain fruits to be harvested from September to June. The follow up of the specific temperature and humidity storage conditions becomes significantly energy intensive that adversely affects the energy balance of exporters, especially when the producing country is run out of affordable energy sources. In order to reduce the energy costs during the crop storage and avoid the crop wastage, the solar ejector cooling systems were introduced. These systems developed recently, are fully autonomous, does not contain mechanically moving parts, reliable and durable in performance. In addition, the new type of thermopump with high energy and performance characteristics was elaborated and tested within the ejector cooling system, driven by the imitated low-grade heat. The results of theoretical and experimental study of the thermopump and the ejector refrigeration system were described in the study along with factors that affect the system's efficiency. The crop storages operating regimes were reviewed during the storage season for the selected products. Temperature ranges defined for systems with constant area ratio ejector at COP values remains stable. Cold accumulators or duplicate conventional systems, applied during the night were considered as backup systems, supporting a non-stop operation

    Grounding of design and technology parameters of combined coulter furrow opener of precision seed drill

    A formation of a seedbed is an important step during seed sowing process. A quality of seedbed formation influences on seeds distribution along both a row and a depth and is triggering the opportunity to obtain early and even sprouts. The design of the furrow opener is the main element that has a direct impact on the qualitative formation of seedbed and technological parameters of coulter operation. During the research, there has been analyzed the modern construction of precision seed drills coulters and specified advantages and disadvantages of their operation. It has been established that the most advanced are coulters having a working section with a combined angle (sharp and obtuse) of entry into the soil. The attained results afforded to develop an improved design of the coulter furrow opener of the precision seed drill. There was brought forward a combined wedge furrow opener, the upper part of which has a working section with a sharp angle of entry into the soil, lower - and compactor, located in the rear part of the furrow opener, which forms seedbed has a working surface with an obtuse angle of entry into the soil. There were obtained analytical dependences targeted to determine the main structural and technological parameters of the operating elements of a combined coulter furrow opener which is used to seed cultivated crops: the angles of entry into the soil of the upper and lower part of the furrow opener, compactor in the rolling plane and the angle of tip of the furrow opener in the horizontal plane

    Solar Cooling Technologies Using Ejector Refrigeration System

    The continuous search for the effective cold generation methods resulted in the creation of thermally driven ejector refrigeration systems (ERS). Producing cold at various temperatures, the ERS serves to save electric energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The theoretical analysis of the ejector cycles carried out for various ERS has proved its capability to generate the cold at +12°C to –40°C, reaching the COP values at 0.7 to 0.1 respectively. The combined cycles of water conversion, heat and cold production appear to be especially effective

    Scaffold hopping and three-dimensionality are one of dominating notions in contemporary drug discovery process. Following these concepts is a verified and generally robust avenue to improve the biological activity of a lead against a protein target, selectivity issues as well as ADMET properties. Unfortunately, the freedom of medicinal chemists to replace molecular fragments responsible for the properties is restricted due to unrevealed areas of chemical space existing for even simple building blocks. This paper contributes to the support of drug discovery workflow and describes concise and practical synthetic approaches toward multigram preparation of value-added conformationally constrained 5-spirocyclic α-prolines from readily accessible starting materials. Direct carboxylation of 2-spiropyrrolidines was found to be a novel and promising approach to achieve the purpose and is the most fruitful for substrates with no acidic centers within a part spiro linked to pyrrolidine core. The method allows for quick and one-step preparation of the target chemicals in good yields. For substrates inapplicable to the straightforward method, an alternative synthetic avenue was designed. This 4-steps protocol deals with common for laboratory practice transformations and is comparable in its efficiency with the carboxylation method. The paper concludes a series of our works on the elaboration of efficient methods for the construction of spiro proline frameworks

    Фрактальна модель трансформації фондового ринку України: соціально-відповідальне інвестування для досягнення Цілей сталого розвитку

    Об’єкт дослідження – економічні відносини, що виникають між суб’єктами фондового ринку у процесі відповідального інвестування як основи для фінансування сталого розвитку. Мета дослідження – розвиток теоретико-методологічних основ та комплексного міждисциплінарного методичного інструментарію до моделювання траєкторії трансформації фондового ринку методами фрактального аналізу та створення в його архітектурі нового сегменту соціально-відповідального інвестування, розробку його інструментарію (продуктів, технологій, інфраструктури), нормативного, інформаційного та регуляторного забезпечення, спрямованих на подолання інвестиційного гепу у досягненні Цілей сталого розвитку. Методи дослідження – методи бібліометричного мета-аналізу, економіко-статистичного (трендового, динамічного та структурного аналізу), компаративного та бенчмарк-аналізу, статичний та динамічний R/S (Rescaled Range) аналіз, метод фракційного інтегрування, параметричні та непараметричні теси і критерії (тест Стьюдента, ANOVA аналіз, тести Манна-Уітні, Крускала-Уолліса, Колмогорова-Смірнофа, а також критерії і тести Ліліфорса, Крамера-фон Мізеса, Уотсона, Андерсона-Дарлінга та ADF), модифікований підхід кумулятивної аномальної віддачі, регресійний аналіз із фіктивними змінними, метод торгового моделювання (симуляції), критерії Лапласа, Вальда, Гурвіца і Севіджа, правила Борда і Кондорсе, методи Expectation-Maximization та адитивно-мультиплікативної згортки. Основні наукові результати – розроблено орієнтири для формування дорожньої карти запровадження сегменту відповідального інвестування в Україні, його нормативне, інформаційне забезпечення, напрями імплементації кодексів, стандартів для регулювання та стимулювання відповідального інвестування, принципи координації дій регуляторів в межах системи «спліт», запропоновано науково-методичні засади бенчмаркінгу відповідального інвестування як засобу подолання інформаційної асиметрії в ESG-сегменті, підвищення інформаційної прозорості учасників фондового ринку та моніторингу подолання інвестиційного гепу у досягненні ЦСР, проведено комплексне порівняння властивостей традиційних та ESG-фондових індексів на основі фрактальної моделі, запропоновано уніфікований науково-методичний підхід до створення ESG-рейтингів та розроблено пропозиції по удосконаленню калькуляції ESG-індексів; формалізовано взаємозв’язок між відповідальним інвестуванням та перситентністю фондового ринку, проведено кількісне обґрунтування доцільності розроблення індексів зі сталого розвитку (ESG-індексів) як маркерів відповідального інвестування; удосконалено методологію ранжування та пріоритизації енергоефективних, клімато- та природоохоронних проєктів для більш ефективного спрямування відповідального інвестування; запропоновано концептуальні основи здійснення імпакт-інвестицій для повоєнного відновлення економіки України; розвинено підхід до формування схеми функціонування суверенного фонду добробуту як суб’єкта сегменту відповідального інвестування на фондовому ринку України
