PERANAN MAKANAN TRADISIONAL BERBAHAN SAGU SEBAGAI ALTERNATIF DALAM PEMENUHAN GIZI MASYARAKAT
AbstractThe research was conducted in the Village of Laba, District of Masamba, Regency of North Luwu, South Sulawesi in order to determine: 1) The role of sago at the household level to the food diversification; and 2) The level of nutritional adequacy of household. The population of household as much as 533 heads of households and sample as much as 30 households. Determination of the samples was done by simple random sampling method. Sago role analysis in terms of the social aspect is described qualitativey, and to determine the level of nutritional adequacy used food consumption analysis by using Software Nutri Survey.The result showed that 1. The role of sago in terms of the social aspect, although it is still regarded as a traditional food but always served with a variety of various processed sago (kapurung, dange, bagea, sagu lempeng, ongol-ongol, jepa, sinoli, cendol) at both the household and when there are small and big party (celebration, circumcision, aqiqah, weddings). 2. The level of nutritional adequacy of respondents looks at the category level is less. This is because each of the households are different in consumption patterns. Each member of the family in a household there who do not eat processed (sago) with a combination of side dishes the amount that should be.Keywords: the role of sago; diversification of food; supporting nutrition

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mendeskripsikan bentuk pelaksanaan program Asuransi Usaha Tani Padi (AUTP) di Kecamatan Sajoanging, Kabupaten Wajo, 2) Menganalisis respon petani terhadap program Asuransi Usaha Tani Padi (AUTP) di Kecamatan Sajoanging, Kabupaten Wajo. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara Purposive Sampling. Penentuan sampel menggunakan proportional sampling dengan mengambil sampel sebanyak 25% dari populasi berjumlah 214 orang, sehingga sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 53 responden. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis deskriptif, dan untuk mengukur respon petani dalam hal ini persepsi, sikap, dan motif petani terhadap AUTP digunakan Skala Likert dengan 3 kategori yaitu: tidak setuju (TS), setuju (S), sangat setuju (SS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Pelaksanaan program AUTP di Kecamatan Sajonging tidak berjalan dengan lancar. Mekanisme pelaksanaan AUTP belum sepenuhnya berjalan sesuai dengan dokumen pedoman pelaksanaan AUTP yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah, 2) Petani di Kecamatan Sajoanging memiliki respon yang baik terhadap program AUTP yang dilihat dari persepsi, sikap , dan motif petani terhadap program AUTP berada pada kategori baik yang menandakan bahwa program AUTP telah diterima dengan baik oleh petani di Kecamatan Sajoanging.Kata Kunci: Respon petani; persepsi; sikap; motif, asuransi usaha tani padi.ABSTRACTRice Farming Insurance Program (AUTP) can give assurance toward plant damages caused by flood, dryed, and organism attack as plant destroyer, so that farmer can get the replacement as work capital for the sustainability of this farmer works. This research aimed to: 1) Describe the form implementation of Rice Farming Insurance Program (AUTP) In Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency, 2) Analyze the farmer responses toward Rice Farming Insurance Program (AUTP) in Sajoanging District, Wajo Regency. Sample taken by using proportional sampling that it took 25% from population which has 214 persons, the sample in this study amounted was 53 respondent. Data analysis using was descriptive analysis and to determine the farmer responses in this case is perception, attitude, and motive toward AUTP is used Likert Scale with 3 categories: disagree(TS), agree (S), strongly agree (SS). The result of research shown that: 1) The Rice Farming Insurance Program (AUTP) In Sajoanging District was not run well. Mechanism of implementation AUTP has not fully run in accordance with the AUTP implementation guidance document , 2) Farmer in Sajoanging District has a good response toward the AUTP program it can be seen form perception, attitude, and motive of farmer towards the program that in a good category so that it shown the AUTP program was accepted by the farmer in Sajoanging District. PRAKTIK SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT TERHADAP DAYA SAING UKM MAKANAN RINGAN KOTA MAKASSAR DI ERA COVID-19
Since the Covid-19 pandemic hit Indonesia, the challenges of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are getting tougher because they not only have to be highly competitive, but how to makethe small and medium enterprises (SMEs) survive in the midst of a pandemic and don't let them close. Therefore, small and medium enterprises (SMEs) need to create a competitive advantage that is different from its competitors. One of the efforts to achieve this is by optimizing the coordination of the implementation of SCM practices effectively in terms of strategic supplier partnerships, customer relationships and information sharing so that they can survive in the competition and even lead in a pandemic crisis. This study aims to analyze strategic supplier partnerships, customer relationships, information sharing and postponement of the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Makassar City in the Covid-19 pandemic era. This study used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data analysis with SmartPLS software. The results of this study indicates that strategic supplier partnership has no effect on the competitiveness of Snack of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Makassar City while customer relationships and information sharing have an influence on the competitiveness of Snacks of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Makassar City in the Covid-19 era
PERAN PETANI KUNCI (COCOA DOCTOR) DALAM ADOPSI PAKET PENINGKATAN PRODUKSI PETANI KAKAO SERTIFIKASI
AbstractThis study aims to determine: 1) the role of cocoa doctor in adoption production package; 2) cocoa farmer's response to the presence of cocoa doctor; 3) the level of adoption of production increasing package (called 3PP) of cocoa farmers. This research was conducted in Maliwowo Village, Eastern Luwu, South Sulawesi. Samples were 36 people, by simple random sampling method. The analysis employed scoring analysis. The results shows that: 1) the role of cocoa doctor in adoption 3PP in terms of information delivery, absorption ability of information, group planning, cooperation and group institutionalized is the middle category of 53.78%; 2) farmers have agreed response to the presence of cocoa doctor; and 3) farmers adoption levels to 3PP are in the medium category (75%). This implies that the role of cocoa doctor could be expected to improve adoption of 3PP. Keywords: cocoa doctor; cocoa farmers; adoption
ANALISIS SEGMENTASI PASAR WISATA KEBUN GOWA
Market segmentation is the process of classifying heterogeneous whole markets into groups or segments that have similarities in terms of needs, desires, behavior and / or responses to specific marketing programs. Gowa Tourism Gardens is one of the tourist attractions in South Sulawesi which has a lot of tourism supporting facilities and is still in the development stage so market segmentation needs to be done. The purpose of this study is to identify the characteristics of visitors to the Gowa Tourism Gardens and analyze the dependencies between the Gowa Tourism Gardens market segmentation variables. This study determines the market segmentation by using consumer loyalty as the dependent variable and demographic, geographical, psychographic, and visitor behavior data as independent variables. The number of samples in this study as many as 150 people. Methods of data analysis using CHAID analysis. The results of this study indicate that most visitors to the Gowa Garden Tourism are women, adolescents, have a junior high school education, have student/ college student status, have an income ≤Rp500,000.00 per month, and from outside the region Gowa. The significant independent variable with the dependent variable of visitor loyalty based on the results of the CHAID analysis is the supporting facilities variable used by visitors to Gowa Garden Tourism and vehicle ownership. Wisata Kebun Gowa merupakan salah satu objek wisata di Sulawesi Selatan yang memiliki banyak fasilitas penunjang wisata dan masih dalam tahap pengembangan sehingga perlu dilakukan segmentasi pasar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik pengunjung Wisata Kebun Gowa dan menganalisis dependensi antar variabel segmentasi pasar Wisata Kebun Gowa. Penelitian ini menentukan segmentasi pasar dengan menggunakan loyalitas konsumen sebagai variabel dependen dan data demografis, geografis, psikografis, serta data tingkah laku pengunjung sebagai variabel independen. Jumlah sampel pada penelitian ini yaitu sebanyak 150 orang. Metode analisis data penelitian ini menggunakan analisis CHAID. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengunjung Wisata Kebun Gowa sebagian besar adalah perempuan, remaja, berpendidikan SMP/SLTP, berstatus pelajar/ mahasiswa, berpenghasilan ≤Rp500.000,00 per bulan, dan berasal dari luar Gowa. Adapun variabel independen yang signifikan dengan variabel dependen loyalitas pengunjung berdasarkan hasil analisis CHAID adalah variabel fasilitas penunjang yang digunakan pengunjung Wisata Kebun Gowa dan kepemilikan kendaraan
PENYIMPANAN DAN PENGEMASAN BERAS DENGAN METODE VAKUM DI KABUPATEN TAKALAR
Kabupaten Takalar merupakan salah satu daerah di Sulawesi Selatan dimana padi merupakan produk unggulan daerah. Iklim tropis dan lembab di daerah ini mendukung berkembangnya hama gudang (kutu beras) yang dapat menyebabkan beras menjadi berjamur, bau apek, dan saling melekat, sehingga secara ekonomi dapat berdampak pada penurunan harga. Pengemasan beras dengan metode vakum diharapkan dapat meminimalisasi kerusakan beras akibat serangan hama gudang selama penyimpanan, karena dengan metode vakum, jumlah oksigen di dalam kemasan akan ditekan, sehingga menghambat perkembangbiakan hama (larva hama). Kegiatan pengabdian ini ditujukan sebagai salah satu upaya meminimalisasi kehilangan akibat penanganan pascapanen yang tidak tepat, dengan jalan memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kepada petani dan pedagang beras mengenai metode penyimpanan dan pengemasan beras yang dapat menjaga kualitas beras selama penyimpanan. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Kegiatan pengabdian telah dilakukan di Desa Tala, Kecamatan Pattalassang, Kabupaten Takalar, peserta terdiri dari anggota masyarakat petani dan pedagang beras sebanyak 30 orang. Pelatihan telah dilakukan dengan dua sesi kegiatan yaitu sesi ke-1 adalah penyampaian materi mengenai: (1) Pentingnya pengemasan beras dengan metode vakum selama penyimpanan, (2) Tata cara penyimpanan beras yang tepat agar bebas dari serangan hama gudang, (3) Tata cara penggunaan teknologi kemasan vakum pada beras. Dan sesi ke-2 adalah praktek menyosoh, menampi dan mengemas beras dengan metode vakum. Berdasarkan hasil monitoring oleh beberapa orang tim pelaksana, menunjukkan bahwa peserta telah mengetahui metode penyimpanan beras dengan benar agar bebas dari serangan hama gudang dan mengetahui teknik pengemasan beras dengan metode vakum. The Allocative Efficiency Analysis in the Rice Farming Production
The study aimed to analyze the effect of the application of production inputs on rice farming production and to analyze the allocative efficiency. The study was conducted in Bantaeng Regency. The primary data employed were collected from 36 farmers who owned 82 rice fields in total. The FPCD Model and AE Analysis were applied for the data analysis. The model showed that there were five variables (land area, seeds, ZA fertilizer, NPK fertilizer, and labor) had positive and significant effects on the rice farming production. Meanwhile, the result of EA Analysis showed that the variable of land area, seeds, and ZA fertilizer had not been efficient yet and the labor was not efficient. In increasing the rice farming production, the farmers are encouraged to cultivate more rice fields, apply for more certified seeds, ZA and NPK fertilizers, as well as reduce the number of labors used for production’s efficiency
Factors Affecting the Development of Maize (Zea mays L.) Farms in South Sulawesi, Indonesia
The study investigates the factors and conditions that influence the development of maize farming in South Sulawesi, Indonesia. In this study, simple random sampling was used for 120 maize farmers. Observations, interviews, and questionnaires were utilized as data-gathering methods. AMOS 24 software was used for quantitative analysis through Structural Equation Modelling (SEM), while Respondent Achievement Level (TCR) criteria were used for statistically descriptive analysis. The results showed that the higher the farmer's education and farming capital, could improve human resources. In contrast, the lower the farmer's farming experience, could reduce the human resource, and the better the human resources could increase the more effective agricultural extension services will be. The factors that influence the development of maize farming in South Sulawesi are farmer education, farming capital, human resources, farmer experience, and the effectiveness of counselling
ANALISIS KEBERLANJUTAN USAHA SAYURAN HIDROPONIK PADA MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI KOTA MAKASSAR (STUDI KASUS DI GREEN TOP FARM)
Vegetable commodities have an important role to meet human needs, especially in terms of adequate food and nutrition. Vegetables can be produced in several media and one of the planting methods is hydroponics. Makassar City during the Covid-19 pandemic, many people consumed vegetables, especially hydroponics because of public awareness of health in the midst of this outbreak. One of the hydroponic vegetable businesses in Makassar City is Green Top Farm. This study aims to analyze the sustainability of the vegetable business at Green Top Farm during the covid-19 pandemic. This research method uses quantitative descriptive analysis using sustainability indicators. Determination of the research location is done intentionally (purposive). The data used is primary data. The sustainability of Green Top Farm's hydroponic vegetable business is divided into four aspects, namely economic aspects, social aspects, environmental aspects and technological aspects. The results show that business sustainability in the economic aspect gets a value of 7 which is included in the high sustainability category, business sustainability in the social aspect gets a value of 6 which is included in the moderate sustainability category, business sustainability in the environmental aspect gets a value of 7 which is included in the low sustainability category. high and business sustainability in the technology aspect gets a score of 6 which is included in the moderate sustainability category. These four aspects can be said that this effort can be continued well
Rice Marketing Value Chain In Makassar Terong Traditional Market
This study aims to determine the activities carried out at the level of wholesalers and retailers in Makassar Traditional Eggplant Market and determine the marketing margin of rice in Makassar Traditional Eggplant Market. The number of samples taken as many as 8 retail respondents and as many as 6 respondents of large traders taken by simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis to identify rice magnification activities in the Makassar City of Terong Traditional Market and quantitative analysis, which is to analyze marketing margins and rice profit ratios in the Makassar City of Terong Traditional Market with the formula of marketing margin and profit ratio. Activities undertaken by large traders prior to selling are ensuring the amount of rice stock, contacting rice suppliers and making direct and indirect sales while retailers do not conduct a series of activities before selling, at the level of rice traders only conducting sales activities. Marketing margins from retailer which is Rp. 1,705 while the marketing magin at the wholesaler level is Rp. 867.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kegiatan yang dilakukan pedagang besar danpengecer di Pasar Terong Tradisional Makassar dan mengetahui margin pemasaran berasdi Pasar Terong Tradisional Makassar. Jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 8responden pedagang eceran dan pedagang besar sebanyak 6 responden diambil dengancara simple random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptifuntuk mengidentifikasi kegiatan perbesaran beras di Pasar Tradisional Terong Kota Makassar dan analisis kuantitatif digunakan untuk menganalisis marjin pemasaran dan rasio keuntungan beras di Pasar Tradisional Terong Kota Makassar. Kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh pedagang besar sebelum melakukan penjualan adalah memastikan jumlahstok beras, menghubungi pemasok beras dan melakukan penjualan langsung maupun tidak langsung sedangkan pengecer tidak melakukan rangkaian kegiatan sebelum berjualan, pada tingkat pedagang beras hanya melakukan kegiatan penjualan.
