Inlaendische Rohoelgewinnung sowie Import von Rohoel und Mineraloelprodukten

The report presents the technical, economic and emission-related characteristics of the processes 'petroleum production' and 'petroleum imports' and their expected development up to 2020. Each of the three sectors 'petroleum production' 'petroleum imports' (crude oil and petroleum products) and 'petroleum experts' corresponds to a process group in the IKARUS database. Exports of petroleum products are low and are therefore treated only in passing. Domestic production of crude oil is low, too, and will be negligible in future. The emphasis of the report therefore is on the development of imports of crude oil and petroleum products from various regions. (orig./HS)Im vorliegenden Bericht werden die technischen, oekonomischen und emissionsbezogenen Eigenschaften der Prozesse 'Mineraloelgewinnung' und 'Mineraloeleinfuhr' und ihre wahrscheinliche Entwicklung bis zum Jahr 2020 dargestellt. Jedem der drei Bereiche 'Mineraloelgewinnung', 'Mineraloelimporte' (Rohoel und Mineraloelprodukte) und 'Mineraloelexporte' entspricht in der Datenbank IKARUS eine Prozessgruppe. Die Ausfuhr von Mineraloelprodukten spielt eine geringe Rolle und wird deshalb nur am Rande behandelt. Auch die inlaendische Gewinnung von Rohoel ist gering und wird kuenftig bedeutungslos werden. Der Untersuchungsschwerpunkt liegt deshalb auf den Importmoeglichkeiten sowohl von Rohoel als auch von Mineraloelprodukten aus unterschiedlichen Bezugsregionen. Kosten und Potentiale der Nutzung von Windenergie in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland

A report on the past use of wind power in Germany is followed by chapters on the operation of wind power plants in economic, ecological, and socioeconomic terms. Against this background, future possibilities for using wind power in Germany are discussed on the basis of an assessment of the potential and of the determinants of potential exploitation.- In order to allow better understanding of how the IKARUS project deals with wind power plants, the assumptions considered in the model calculations are described in chapter 8 under methodical aspects. Most important herein is the way that the modelling ties in wind power plants into the overall system of energy supply. In addition, it is explained how wind power systems are described in the database. The objective of the IKARUS project is primarily a comprehensive view of the energy system; from the angle of individual lines of technology, certain unsharpnesses need to be taken into account. Consequently, both certain limits to the use of the tools and the future need for updating are pointed out. (orig./UA)Nach einer Darstellung der bisherigen Nutzung der Windenergie in Deutschland wird in den folgenden Kapiteln zunaechst der Einsatz von Windkraftanlagen unter energetischen, oekonomischen und oekologischen sowie soziooekonomischen Aspekten beschrieben. Vor diesem Hintergrund werden die kuenftigen Nutzungsmoeglichkeiten in Deutschland anhand von Potentialschaetzungen und von Determinanten der Potentialausschoepfung erlaeutert. Zum besseren Verstaendnis der Behandlung von Windkraftanlagen im IKARUS-Projekt wird in Kapitel 8 unter methodischen Aspekten dargestellt, welche Annahmen in die Modellrechnungen eingehen. Hierbei ist vor allem von Bedeutung, wie die Einbindung von Windkraftanlagen in das Gesamtsystem der Energieversorgung modellmaessig abgebildet wird. Darueber hinaus wird erlaeutert, wie Windenergiesysteme in der Datenbank beschrieben werden. Im Rahmen des IKARUS-Projektes geht es in erster Linie um eine Gesamtsicht des Energiesystems; aus der Sicht einzelner Techniklinien muessen insofern gewisse Unschaerfen in Kauf genommen werden. Deshalb wird auch auf entsprechende Einschraenkungen der Belastbarkeit des Instrumentariums ebenso hingewiesen wie auf den kuenftigen Aktualisierungsbedarf der Daten.
