Second odour measurement campaign of odour generated by the landfill site of Happe-Chapois. Odour annoyance assessment.

The study is conducted in the frame of a programme of monitoring of all landfill sites in Wallonia. The "odour" part is assigned to ULg. The present report concerns more particularly a second campaign on the site of Happe-Chapois. Besides the usual field inspection technique, the research group has used dynamic olfactometry to estimate the odour flux emitted by the tipping area, through a sample collected by a dynamic flux chamber. Second odour measurement campaign of odour generated by the landfill site "Champ-de-Beamont" at Monceau-sur-Sambre. Odour annoyance assessment.

The study is made in the frame of a follow-up monitoring of all landfill sites in Wallonia, initiated by the Ministry of Environment and managed by ISSeP. The report concerns more particularly a second measurement campaign on the landfill site of Monceau-sur-Sambre. Besides the usual field inspection technique, the research group used GC-MS analyses to evaluate the chemical composition of emissions and an atmospheric dispersion model to study the influence of local relief.Campagne de mesure de la nuisance olfactive générée par le CET de Monceau-sur-Sambre

The study is conducted in the frame of a programme of monitoring of all landfill sites in Wallonia. The "odour" part is assigned to ULg.
