Application of Fuzzy C-Means Clustering Algorithm Based on Particle Swarm Optimization in Computer Forensics
AbstractComputer forensics is the technology of applying computer technology to access, investigate and analysis the evidence of computer crime. It mainly include the process of determine and obtain digital evidence, analyze and take data, file and submit result. And the data analysis is the key link of computer forensics. As the complexity of real data and the characteristics of fuzzy, evidence analysis has been difficult to obtain the desired results. This paper applies fuzzy c-means clustering algorithm based on particle swarm optimization (FCMP) in computer forensics, and it can be more satisfactory results
Phase retrieval of analytic signals from short-time Fourier transform measurements
Analytic signals constitute a class of signals that are widely applied in
time-frequency analysis such as extracting instantaneous frequency (IF) or
phase derivative in the characterization of ultrashort laser pulse. The purpose
of this paper is to investigate the phase retrieval (PR) problem for analytic
signals in by short-time Fourier transform (STFT) measurements
since they enjoy some very nice structures. Since generic analytic signals are
generally not sparse in the time domain, the existing PR results for sparse (in
time domain) signals do not apply to analytic signals. We will use bandlimited
windows that usually have the full support length which allows us to get
much better resolutions on low frequencies. More precisely, by exploiting the
structure of the STFT for analytic signals, we prove that the STFT based phase
retrieval (STFT-PR for short) of generic analytic signals can be achieved by
their measurements. Since the generic analytic
signals are -sparse in the Fourier domain, such
a number of measurements is lower than and
which are required in the literature for STFT-PR of all signals and of
-sparse (in the Fourier domain) signals in ,
respectively. Moreover, we also prove that if the length is even and the
windows are also analytic, then the number of measurements can be reduced to
. As an application of this we get that the instantaneous
frequency (IF) of a generic analytic signal can be exactly recovered from the
STFT measurements
All-IP wireless sensor networks for real-time patient monitoring
AbstractThis paper proposes the all-IP WSNs (wireless sensor networks) for real-time patient monitoring. In this paper, the all-IP WSN architecture based on gateway trees is proposed and the hierarchical address structure is presented. Based on this architecture, the all-IP WSN can perform routing without route discovery. Moreover, a mobile node is always identified by a home address and it does not need to be configured with a care-of address during the mobility process, so the communication disruption caused by the address change is avoided. Through the proposed scheme, a physician can monitor the vital signs of a patient at any time and at any places, and according to the IPv6 address he can also obtain the location information of the patient in order to perform effective and timely treatment. Finally, the proposed scheme is evaluated based on the simulation, and the simulation data indicate that the proposed scheme might effectively reduce the communication delay and control cost, and lower the packet loss rate
Effects of Nonaerated Circulation Water Velocity on Nutrient Release from Aquaculture Pond Sediments
Sustaining good water quality in aquaculture ponds is vital. Without an aerator, the dissolved oxygen in ponds comes primarily from mass transfer at the water-ambient atmosphere interface. As sediment can seriously affect water quality, this study used indoor experiments to examine the nutrient (nitrogen and phosphorus) release mechanisms and fluxes from sediment in aquaculture ponds with moving water but no aeration. The results showed that the ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N) concentration in the overlying water was inversely proportional to flow velocity and that a higher flow velocity tended to result in a lower concentration in the overlying water, a steeper vertical gradient of concentration within the bed sediments, and a faster release rate from the sediments. The sediment disturbed by flowing water released more nitrate nitrogen (NO3-N) and nitrite nitrogen (NO2-N) into the overlying water and NO2-N could become oxidized into NO3-N. In still water, NO3-N was released gradually and some anaerobic NO3-N was nitrified into NO2-N. Phosphorus release from the sediments was controlled by the adsorption-desorption balance, with the phosphorus concentration in the overlying water dropping gradually to a steady value from its initial maximum. The relationship between NH3-N release flux and flow rate is described by a cubic function
STREET: A Multi-Task Structured Reasoning and Explanation Benchmark
We introduce STREET, a unified multi-task and multi-domain natural language
reasoning and explanation benchmark. Unlike most existing question-answering
(QA) datasets, we expect models to not only answer questions, but also produce
step-by-step structured explanations describing how premises in the question
are used to produce intermediate conclusions that can prove the correctness of
a certain answer. We perform extensive evaluation with popular language models
such as few-shot prompting GPT-3 and fine-tuned T5. We find that these models
still lag behind human performance when producing such structured reasoning
steps. We believe this work will provide a way for the community to better
train and test systems on multi-step reasoning and explanations in natural
language.Comment: Published in ICLR 202
Orf virus DNA vaccines expressing ORFV 011 and ORFV 059 chimeric protein enhances immunogenicity
Background: ORFV attenuated live vaccines have been the main prophylactic measure against contagious ecthyma in sheep and goats in the last decades, which play an important role in preventing the outbreak of the disease. However, the available vaccines do not induce lasting immunity in sheep and goats. On the other hand, variation in the terminal genome of Orf virus vaccine strains during cell culture adaptation may affect the efficacy of a vaccine. Currently, there are no more effective antiviral treatments available for contagious ecthyma. Results: We constructed three eukaryotic expression vectors pcDNA3.1-ORFV011, pcDNA3.1-ORFV059 and pcDNA3.1-ORFV011/ORFV059 and tested their immunogenicity in mouse model. High level expression of the recombinant proteins ORFV011, ORFV059 and ORFV011/ORFV059 was confirmed by western blotting analysis and indirect fluorescence antibody (IFA) tests. The ORFV-specific antibody titers and serum IgG1/IgG2a titers, the proliferation of lymphocytes and ORFV-specific cytokines (IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, IFN-gamma, and TNF-alpha) were examined to evaluate the immune responses of the vaccinated mice. We found that mice inoculated with pcDNA3.1-ORFV 011/ORFV059 had significantly stronger immunological responses than those inoculated with pcDNA3.1-ORFV011, pcDNA3.1-ORFV059, or pcDNA3.1-ORFV011 plus pcDNA3.1-ORFV059. Compared to other vaccine plasmids immunized groups, pcDNA3.1-ORFV011/ORFV059 immunized group enhances immunogenicity. Conclusions: We concluded that DNA vaccine pcDNA3.1-ORFV011/ORFV059 expressing ORFV011 and ORFV059 chemeric-proteins can significantly improve the potency of DNA vaccination and could be served as more effective and safe approach for new vaccines against ORFV.http://gateway.webofknowledge.com/gateway/Gateway.cgi?GWVersion=2&SrcApp=PARTNER_APP&SrcAuth=LinksAMR&KeyUT=WOS:000304650500001&DestLinkType=FullRecord&DestApp=ALL_WOS&UsrCustomerID=8e1609b174ce4e31116a60747a720701VirologySCI(E)3ARTICLEnull
