The topological structure of the vortices in the O(n) symmetric TDGL model
In the light of --mapping method and topological current theory, the
topological structure of the vortex state in TDGL model and the topological
quantization of the vortex topological charges are investigated. It is pointed
out that the topological charges of the vortices in TDGL model are described by
the Winding numbers of --mapping which are determined in terms of the
Hopf indices and the Brouwer degrees of --mapping.Comment: 9 pages, LaTe
Calculation of single-beam two-photon absorption transition rate of rare-earth ions using effective operator and diagrammatic representation
Effective operators needed in single-beam two-photon transition calculations
have been represented with modified Goldstone diagrams similar to the type
suggested by Duan and co-workers [J. Chem. Phys. 121, 5071 (2004) ]. The rules
to evaluate these diagrams are different from those for effective Hamiltonian
and one-photon transition operators. It is verified that the perturbation terms
considered contain only connected diagrams and the evaluation rules are
simplified and given explicitly.Comment: 10 preprint pages, to appear in Journal of Alloys and Compound
Vector and Spinor Decomposition of SU(2) Gauge Potential, their quivalence and Knot Structure in SU(2) Chern-Simons Theory
In this paper, spinor and vector decomposition of SU(2) gauge potential are
presented and their equivalence is constructed using a simply proposal. We also
obtain the action of Faddeev nonlinear O(3) sigma model from the SU(2) massive
gauge field theory which is proposed according to the gauge invariant
principle. At last, the knot structure in SU(2) Chern-Simons filed theory is
discussed in terms of the --mapping topological current theory. The
topological charge of the knot is characterized by the Hopf indices and the
Brouwer degrees of -mapping.Comment: 10 pages, ni figur
Conditions for entanglement transformation between a class of multipartite pure states with generalized Schmidt decompositions
In this note we generalize Nielsen's marjoization criterion for the
convertibility of bipartite pure states [Phys. Rev. Lett \textbf{83},
436(1999)] to a special class of multipartite pure states which have
generalized Schmidt decompositions.Comment: 3 pages (Revetex 4), no figures. A brief note on entanglement

Topological excitation in the Fractional Quantum Hall system
Two kinds of topological excitations, vortices and skyrmions, are studied in
the frame of Ginzburg-Landau theory. We obtain the rigorous relation between
the topological excitation and the order parameters in the fractional quantum
Hall systems. We also discuss the evolution of the vortices in fractional
quantum Hall systems.Comment: 11 pages, Revte
On the inverse Kostka matrix
We present both a combinatorial characterization and a recurrent formula for
the entries of the inverse Kostka matrix. An application to the topology of the
classifying space BU(n) is obtained.Comment: To appear in Journal of Combinatorial Theory, Series
