Burnishing tool actuators and their influence on the burnishing force components

    Get PDF
The article presents the results of studies on measuring components of force of diamond burnishing of surfaces with variable radius of curvature. The impact of structural elements of burnishing tools of different types on components of burnishing force was analyzed. The impact of different actuators of burnishing tools on components of burnishing force was analyzed. The design of the burnishing tool with an air receiver (bellows with compressed air as an actuator) with a parallelogram-type mounting of the indenter on the four flat posts, which ensures burnishing of profiled and other types of surfaces with constant radial force, was proposed

AN EXPERIMENTAL MODEL OF ESOPHAGUS AND STOMACH CHEMICAL BURN WITH MODERN AGGRESSIVE CHEMICAL AGENTS

Aim of the research: to explore the model of esophagus and stomach chemical burn with modern chemical agents in the experiment on animals. The article presents the results of experimental research of chemical burn of the esophagus in Vistar rats. The burn of esophagus was conducted by modern chemical agents. As the result of the research the substances with «low» and «high» degree of aggressiveness were determined

Optimization of diagnostics and treatment of maxilla-facial area phlegmons (literature review)

Maxillo-facial area phlegmon is a common, serious, costly and deadly disease. Over the last decade, the attention of researches and clinical was focused on the search the optimal methods of diagnosis and treatment of this pathology. It is necessary for timely initiation of adequate causal antibiotic therapy and prevention of complications. Gas chromatography - mass-spectrometry is one of the most powerful analytical methods to obtain data on the exciter. The review highlights the current understanding of the role and potential of the method in the improvement of measures aimed at prevention and treatment of phlegmons and their complications

Prospects of phytopreparations based on Calendula officinalis in complex treatment of chemical burn of the esophagus

Currently worldwide chemical burns of the esophagus rank first among all diseases of the esophagus in children and second in adults. Because of commonly accepted algorithms of rendering of medical aid in case of chemical burns of the esophagus in the prehospital and hospital stages (washing of the esophagus and the stomach, adequate anesthesia, corticosteroid, antibiotic therapy, the group of antacids and symptomatic treatment), the choice of drug and method of local impact on the surface of chemical burn of the esophagus remain an urgent problem. The lack of standardized approach in treatment of local changes in chemical burns of the esophagus, severe and unsatisfactory results of using medication algorithms inspire a search for alternative methods of treatment and drug development. Herbal remedies are comparable in effectiveness, but also have the combined multivalent effect on the entire body, causing minimum of side effects. Basing on the literature review, we have come to a conclusion that the most balanced composition of biologically active substances and a positive influence on the basic pathogenesis of esophageal chemical burns has Calendula officinalis. Features and scope of Calendula officinalis are not fully understood. The creation of a multidrug for the local treatment chemical burns of the esophagus based on this herb proves to be very promising

MEMS electrostatic vibration energy harvester without switches and inductive elements

International audienceThe paper is devoted to a novel study of monophase MEMS electrostatic Vibration Energy Harvester (e-VEH) with conditioning circuit based on Bennet's doubler. Unlike the majority of conditioning circuits that charge a power supply, the circuit based on Bennet's doubler is characterized by the absence of switches requiring additional control electronics, and is free from hardly compatible with batch fabrication process inductive elements. Our experiment with a 0.042 cm 3 batch fabricated MEMS e-VEH shows that a pre-charged capacitor as a power supply causes a voltage increase, followed by a saturation which was not reported before. This saturation is due to the nonlinear dynamics of the system and the electromechanical damping that is typical for MEMS. It has been found that because of that coupled behavior there exists an optimal power supply voltage at which output power is maximum. At 187 Hz / 4 g external vibrations the system is shown to charge a 12 V supply with a output power of 1.8 μW
