Effect of magnetic field on the strange star

We study the effect of a magnetic field on the strage quark matter and apply to strange star. We found that the strange star becomes more compact in presence of strong magnetic field.Comment: 10 pages (LaTex) and 3 postscript figures available on reques

Influence of protamine on the susceptibility of Pseudomonas aeruginosa to cefotaxime, sulphadimethoxine, polymyxin B and some 尾-lactam antibiotics

Protamine, a basic protein, was shown to influence the activity of antibacterial agents. When added to tryptic soy broth it enhanced the bactericidal activity of cefotaxime, sulphadimethoxine, ticarcillin, piperacillin and carbenicillin against Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In contrast, the activity of polymyxin B against this species was markedly reduced in the presence of protamine. 漏 1988.SCOPUS: ar.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe

R茅flexions sur la mesure de l'action germicide des substances antiseptiques ou d茅sinfectantes

    No full text
The number of antimicrobial products has largely increased and their mode of action on different kinds of microorganisms has been specified. The concept of pathogens has changed, the terminology concerning antiseptics and disinfectants is now conventional, and consequently the methods have to be adapted to this evolution. Some proposals are made to guide the choice of criteria for these methods.SCOPUS: NotDefined.jinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishe
