Research and Science Today No.3

Research and Science Today Journal is a publication founded in 2011 and it is dedicated to the students of all levels (license, master and doctoral) of faculties in the country and abroad. We want to offer the participants the opportunity to present their scientific works in the following areas: Social Sciences, Economic Sciences, Legal Sciences, Humanities, Education Sciences, Engineering, Medicine and Sport. This journal provides students the opportunity to create and / or to improve their abilities to write scientific papers. So each appearance (two appearances per year at which we can add supplements) contains a number of papers written by students, masters and doctoral from the faculties from the country or / and abroad. The journal promotes original studies contributing to the progress of knowledge and it is motivated by the need to address issues of theory and practice in the areas mentioned above. The Journal is a training means of the factors involved in the conceptualization, development, implementation and evaluation , aiming the formation of creative personalities who could be able to adapt through the changing conditions of life. Journal wants to be a forum for debates disciplinaries and interdisciplinaries theoretical topics, to become a research support, to leverage this work at regional, national and international levels. We believe that this gathering will enjoy the support from both parts of the researchers and of the practitioners, and will provide appropriate training sources held professional through the current problems

THE DACIAN FORTRESS FROM COSTEŞTI-BLIDARU – RECENT ARCHAEOLOGICAL RESEARCH. THE TOWERS FROM LA VĂMI, POIANA LUI MIHU, PLATOUL FAERAGULUI

The large number of isolated towers scattered in different spots of the hill on which the Dacian fortress at Blidaru was built intrigued the archaeologists right from the beginning of the excavations. In recent campaigns 4 of the 17 towers known until today were tested and some interesting construction details were observed. This paper presents an overview of the main results, a second one is ment to be soon published, dealing with the archeology and history of the Blidaru fortress in the light of recent excavations.This first part  comprises only a short presentation of the fortress itself, of the cisterns and of the temples found there during the excavations. </p

BRONZE VESSELS OF THE EARLY IRON AGE DISCOVERED AT BĂLATA (ROMANIA)

The preventive archaeological research which took place in the summer of 2014 at Bălata – Schit, Șoimuș commune, Hunedoara County, enriched the information on one of the most important sites on the Mureș Valley, where many historical periods have been documented so far. Amongst the numerous discoveries, fragments from at least two bronze cauldrons have been unearthed. The morphological characteristics, especially the cross-shaped handle attachments, decorated with geometric patterns, allow their dating in the final stage of Ha B2, as shown by the analogies in Transylvania. The vessels belong to the categories Merhardt B1 and B2a. The bronze recipients from Bălata reveal an unknown chapter in the archaeology of Early Iron Age in south-western Transylvania, offering new data on the spirituality of the respective times

Universal Dependencies 2.8.1

Universal Dependencies is a project that seeks to develop cross-linguistically consistent treebank annotation for many languages, with the goal of facilitating multilingual parser development, cross-lingual learning, and parsing research from a language typology perspective. The annotation scheme is based on (universal) Stanford dependencies (de Marneffe et al., 2006, 2008, 2014), Google universal part-of-speech tags (Petrov et al., 2012), and the Interset interlingua for morphosyntactic tagsets (Zeman, 2008).
