Multicriterion control of operating conditions of hydraulic units of hydraulic power stations and hydroelectric pumped storage power plants

The investigation is concerned with the automated control of the internal conditions of hydraulic power stations and hydroelectric pumped storage power plants under conditions of process control systems. The purpose of the work is to develop the procedure for short-term and on-line control of hydraulic units under conditions of changing strategy of power station control depending on power and water management conditions and environment. The author has developed new procedures for short-term automated control of hydraulic unit conditions including the stages of analysis of the control object, selection of criteria corresponding to the operating situation and optimization of internal conditions. The author has developed the complex of applied programs for the process control subsystem on the basis of the algorithms of short-term and on-line control of hydraulic units using a complex criterion with due regard for environment limitations.
