Algebraic Quantum Error-Correction Codes
Based on the group structure of a unitary Lie algebra, a scheme is provided
to systematically and exhaustively generate quantum error correction codes,
including the additive and nonadditive codes. The syndromes in the process of
error-correction distinguished by different orthogonal vector subspaces, the
coset subspaces. Moreover, the generated codes can be classified into four
types with respect to the spinors in the unitary Lie algebra and a chosen
initial quantum state
Distributional chaos for weighted translation operators on groups
In this paper, we initiate the study of distributional chaos for weighted
translations on locally compact groups, and give a sufficient condition for
such operators to be distributionally chaotic. We also investigate the set of
distributionally irregular vectors of weighted translations from the views of
modulus, cone, equivalent class and atom. In particular, we show that the set
of distributionally irregular vectors is residual if the group is the integer.
Besides, the equivalent class of distributionally irregular vectors is path
connected if the field is complex
Economic Growth and Government Size in OECD Countries: New Evidence from the Quantile Regression Approach
The purpose of this paper is to employ the quantile regression methodology to investigate the relationship between government size and economic growth using a panel data set for 24 OECD countries. We find that the magnitude of the effect of government size on economic growth varies through the quantiles. When the economic growth is low, increasing the size of the government may have a positive effect and stimulate economic growth. However, as the economic growth rate increases, such an effect declines and has a negative effect on economic growth.Economic growth; Government size; Quantile regression
