Generalized L\"uscher's Formula in Multichannel Baryon-Baryon Scattering

In this paper, L\"uscher's formula is generalized to the case of two spin-12\frac{1}{2} particles in two-channel scattering based on Ref. \cite{Li:2012bi}. This is first done in a non-relativistic quantum mechanics model and then generalized to quantum field theory. We show that L\"uscher's formula obtained from these two different methods are equivalent up to terms that are exponentially suppressed in the box size. This formalism can be readily applied to future lattice QCD calculations.Comment: Introduction expanded and references added. 10 pages, no figure

Measuring the similarity of PML documents with RFID-based sensors

The Electronic Product Code (EPC) Network is an important part of the Internet of Things. The Physical Mark-Up Language (PML) is to represent and de-scribe data related to objects in EPC Network. The PML documents of each component to exchange data in EPC Network system are XML documents based on PML Core schema. For managing theses huge amount of PML documents of tags captured by Radio frequency identification (RFID) readers, it is inevitable to develop the high-performance technol-ogy, such as filtering and integrating these tag data. So in this paper, we propose an approach for meas-uring the similarity of PML documents based on Bayesian Network of several sensors. With respect to the features of PML, while measuring the similarity, we firstly reduce the redundancy data except information of EPC. On the basis of this, the Bayesian Network model derived from the structure of the PML documents being compared is constructed.Comment: International Journal of Ad Hoc and Ubiquitous Computin

    Generalized L\"uscher Formula in Multi-channel Baryon-Meson Scattering

L\"uscher's formula relates the elastic scattering phase shifts to the two-particle energy levels in a finite cubic box. The original formula was obtained for elastic scattering of two massive spinless particles in the center of mass frame. In this paper, we consider the case for the scattering of a spin 1/2 particle with a spinless particle in multi-channel scattering. A generalized relation between the energy of two particle system and the scattering matrix elements is established. We first obtain this relation using quantum-mechanics in both center-of-mass frame and in a general moving frame. The result is then generalized to quantum field theory using methods outlined in Ref. \cite{Hansen:2012tf}. We verify that the results obtained using both methods are equivalent up to terms that are exponentially suppressed in the box size.Comment: One reference adde
