Developing Ecologic Spin-Offs: Strategic Option for Achieving Performance in Energy Industries
The paper aims to emphasize the usefulness of applying an emergent concept in the economic literature (the ecologic spin-off) as main instrument for restructuring the national energy industry, under the circumstances of the increasing pressures provided both by the national and international environment, focused either upon the greenhouse gas emissions reduction or upon the active promotion of energy efficiency principles. The article highlights the fact that the mere existence of an energy market, assumed to operate similar to capital markets, where are supposed to be traded green certificates, may prove inefficient unless rigorous mechanisms for guiding the transition from the classic organization structure of the energy industry towards a new, modern and competitive organization model are being developed. In this context, the ecologic spinoffs may prove to be a main strategic option for ensuring the development of a competitive and efficient energy industry, very similar to the energy industries operating within most of the European Union member countries.spin-off, ecologic spin-off, energy sector, strategy, performance, efficiency, competitiveness.
The Development of Touristic Services through Individual and Organizational Learning. Study Case: Romania and Spain
The present research aims to establish and to design the development strategies for services in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that activate in the tourism field of activity (hotels and other accommodation establishments, restaurants, passenger transport, travel agencies, cultural tourism agencies). Organizational learning is focused on the learning process in the organization which has direct influence on the goods and services produced. Learning activities, carried out individually, are not easily transferred at the organizational level. Moreover, in order to better highlight the weaknesses and the strengths of touristic services management approaches and to define recommendations, our research theme is developed as comparative study: similarities and differences within SMEs touristic services and learning organization practices in Romania and other European Unionâs country members (the example of Spain was considered).services, tourism, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), organizational learning, human resources
HOW TO TRANSFORM SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES (SMES) INTO LEARNING ORGANIZATIONS
Small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) are the most dynamic and vital factor of progress in the contemporary society, main generator of economic performance and substance in any country, employment opportunity provider for most of population, major contributor to the national budget, and engine to improve the living standard of the population. SMEs represent 99% from all enterprises, drawing up the main human resource agglomeration. In Romania and other countries from The European Union, SMEs play an essential role in economic life, having special features that make adaptation process to the knowledge-based economy easier. In a knowledge-based economy context, SMEs should act as learning entities, by developing the most important resources they own: the human resources.learning organization, knowledge-based economy, small and medium enterprises, Romania
HUMAN RESOURCES MOTIVATION - A CHALLENGE FOR SMES ECONOMIC PERFORMANCES
The present research aims to establish and configurate human resources development strategies for the employees of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that activate in the tourism field of activity (hotels and other accomodation establishments, restaurants, passenger trasnport, travel agencies, cultural turism agencies). As knowledge role in the contemporany economy is increasing and defining the economical and social context as knowledge-based ones, we shall consider the research frame as the knowledge-based economy. Moreover, in order to better highlight weaknesses and strenghts of the human resources management approaches and to define recommendations, our research theme is developped as comparative study: similarities and differences within SMEs human resources management practices in Romania and other European Union's country members (the example of Spain was considered).human resources, motivation, profitability, SMEs, tourism
THE IMPORTANCE OF DESIGNING AND IMPLEMENTING AN INTEGRATED MANAGEMENT SYSTEM IN ETHNIC HIGHER EDUCATION
One of the fundamental requirements that has been emphasized since Romaniaâs
accession to the European Union is the safety of the employee, regardless of the field of activity
involved, including in the technical higher education (IST), through practical and research
activities which are carried out in specialized laboratories and production units. A key
requirement of the negotiation program for Romaniaâs accession to the EU was to ensure the free
movement of staff (including exchanges of students and researchers in inter-university study
programs or research programs), products and services (including educational services top level)
based on accreditation. In this context, the Government of Romania has adopted policies for the
development of quality infrastructure, environmental safety and workersâ infrastructure in line
with EU practices and principles, considering it as a priority to step up its own efforts to sign
Multilateral Recognition Protocols (MLA) and to meet the conditions for signing European

A REVIEW OF THE CONVERSION RATE IN MONITORING THE MARKETING PERFORMANCE OF RETAIL WINE SHOPS
Abstract wine shops. The findings are drawn from literature review and is followed by analyse and discussion about the implications and the challenges of using the conversion rate indicator in practice. The paper is an overview of the conversion rate and findings reveal the importance of this indicator for assessing the marketing performance of the retail wine stores and the limits that generated lack of adoption on a large scale
THE IMPORTANCE OF TECHNOLOGY USE WITHIN THE EDUCATIONAL COMMUNICATION PROCESS
Romanian economic environment, in terms of social and cultural boundaries suppression, was oriented towards the knowledge global trend, but in the absence of strategic options, it was unsystematic, especially manifested informaly and randomly: a local, disorganized phenomenum. The new communication process type of approach outlines a map of knowledge management in education and creates the necessary infrastructure to support teaching and learning within universities, while increasing the quality of academic training provides highly qualified graduates for the Romanian economic environment.technology, education communication,
Integral curses of the disc drama model with fundamental dynamic characteristics tt-ds
The paper deals with the dynamic response of mechanisms with standardized inertial
and mechanical characteristics. Moment or inertial mass is periodically variable with
displacement, and torque or mechanical force are periodically variable with displacement and
represented by linear, square or cubic functions in relation to speed. In this paper both the
inertial moment and the torque variation were used for the T-shift. For the variations of torque
torque versus speed, the straight-inclined DS was used. Comparable results charts are based on

Impact on quality of production using 5S method
Efficient and quality work requires a clean environment, security and rigor. The
principle of 5S, namely Seiri, Seiton, Seiso, Seiketsu, Shitsuke, allows the construction of a
functional working environment, driven by simple, precise and efficient rules. The 5S is the
foundation on which progress is being made, the deployment of Lean-manufacturing means
and methods, being a lever of change management. At the same time, the 5S can be considered
as the basic rules of order, discipline, unmistakable preliminaries for a whole improvement

Case study on measuring the level of stress in the academic environment in France
The study is a novelty because was elaborated on a group of students in the
academic environment in France. Following the documented steps, I have noticed that several
questionnaires have been used in order to identify stress levels in the academic environment.
The case study presented in this article consists in a questionnaire meant to identify stress
factors. There are several factors that are likely to cause stress: changes to routine, time
pressure, difficult tasks, too much homeworkâs, financial state, sleep schedule and physical
work conditions. I believe that stress management results could be visible if we can motivate
people to adjust their behavior and life styl
