Pseudo-Einstein and Q-flat metrics with eigenvalue estimates on CR-hypersurfaces

Let M2nβˆ’1M^{2n-1} be the smooth boundary of a bounded strongly pseudo-convex domain Ξ©\Omega in a complete Stein manifold V2nV^{2n}. Then (1) For nβ‰₯3n \ge 3, M2nβˆ’1M^{2n-1} admits a pseudo-Eistein metric; (2) For nβ‰₯2n \ge 2, M2nβˆ’1M^{2n-1} admits a Fefferman metric of zero CR Q-curvature; and (3) for a compact strictly pseudoconvex CR embeddable 3-manifold M3M^3, its CR Paneitz operator PP is a closed operator

Energy Efficient Spectrum Sensing for State Estimation over A Wireless Channel

The performance of remote estimation over wireless channel is strongly affected by sensor data losses due to interference. Although the impact of interference can be alleviated by performing spectrum sensing and then transmitting only when the channel is clear, the introduction of spectrum sensing also incurs extra energy expenditure. In this paper, we investigate the problem of energy efficient spectrum sensing for state estimation of a general linear dynamic system, and formulate an optimization problem which minimizes the total sensor energy consumption while guaranteeing a desired level of estimation performance. The optimal solution is evaluated through both analytical and simulation results.Comment: 4 pages, 6 figures, accepted to IEEE GlobalSIP 201

Pressures for Asymptotically Sub-additive Potentials Under a Mistake Function

This paper defines the pressure for asymptotically subadditive potentials under a mistake function, including the measuretheoretical and the topological versions. Using the advanced techniques of ergodic theory and topological dynamics, we reveals a variational principle for the new defined topological pressure without any additional conditions on the potentials and the compact metric space.Comment: 13page
