Gate-Voltage Control of Chemical Potential and Weak Anti-localization in Bismuth Selenide
We report that BiSe thin films can be epitaxially grown on
SrTiO substrates, which allow for very large tunablity in carrier density
with a back-gate. The observed low field magnetoconductivity due to weak
anti-localization (WAL) has a very weak gate-voltage dependence unless the
electron density is reduced to very low values. Such a transition in WAL is
correlated with unusual changes in longitudinal and Hall resistivities. Our
results suggest much suppressed bulk conductivity at large negative
gate-voltages and a possible role of surface states in the WAL phenomena. This
work may pave a way for realizing three-dimensional topological insulators at

Exact Analysis of Scaling and Dominant Attractors Beyond the Exponential Potential
By considering the potential parameter as a function of another
potential parameter [47], We successfully extend the analysis of
two-dimensional autonomous dynamical system of quintessence scalar field model
to the analysis of three-dimension, which makes us be able to research the
critical points of a large number of potentials beyond the exponential
potential exactly. We find that there are ten critical points in all, three
points } are general points which are possessed by all
quintessence models regardless of the form of potentials and the rest points
are closely connected to the concrete potentials. It is quite surprising that,
apart from the exponential potential, there are a large number of potentials
which can give the scaling solution when the function
equals zero for one or some values of
and if the parameter also satisfies the condition
Eq.(16) or Eq.(17) at the same time. We give the differential equations to
derive these potentials from . We also find that, if some
conditions are satisfied, the de-Sitter-like dominant point and the
scaling solution point (or ) can be stable simultaneously but
and can not be stable simultaneity. Although we survey scaling
solutions beyond the exponential potential for ordinary quintessence models in
standard general relativity, this method can be applied to other extensively
scaling solution models studied in literature[46] including coupled
quintessence, (coupled-)phantom scalar field, k-essence and even beyond the
general relativity case . we also discuss the disadvantage

Pressure Effect on the superconducting properties of LaO_{1-x}F_{x}FeAs(x=0.11) superconductor
Diamagnetic susceptibility measurements under high hydrostatic pressure (up
to 1.03 GPa) were carried out on the newly discovered Fe-based superconductor
LaO_{1-x}F_{x}FeAs(x=0.11). The transition temperature T_c, defined as the
point at the maximum slope of superconducting transition, was enhanced almost
linearly by hydrostatic pressure, yielding a dT_c/dP of about 1.2 K/GPa.
Differential diamagnetic susceptibility curves indicate that the underlying
superconducting state is complicated. It is suggested that pressure plays an
important role on pushing low T_c superconducting phase toward the main

Nernst effect of the new iron-based superconductor LaOFFeAs
We report the first Nernst effect measurement on the new iron-based
superconductor LaOFFeAs . In the normal state, the
Nernst signal is negative and very small. Below a large positive peak
caused by vortex motion is observed. The flux flowing regime is quite large
compared to conventional type-II superconductors. However, a clear deviation of
the Nernst signal from normal state background and an anomalous depression of
off-diagonal thermoelectric current in the normal state between and 50
K are observed. We propose that this anomaly in the normal state Nernst effect
