Static Quark Potential and the Renormalized Anisotropy on Tadpole Improved Anisotropic Lattices
Static quark potential is studied using a tadpole improved gauge lattice
action. The scale is set using the potential for a wide range of bare
parameters.
The renormalized anisotropy of the lattice is also measured.Comment: 11 pages, 5 figures, accepted for publication in Int. J. Mod. Phys.
(Sr3La2O5)(Zn1-xMnx)2As2: A Bulk Form Diluted Magnetic Semiconductor isostructural to the "32522" Fe-based Superconductors
A new diluted magnetic semiconductor system, (Sr3La2O5)(Zn1-xMnx)2As2, has
been synthesized and characterized. 10% Mn substitution for Zn in bulk form
(Sr3La2O5)Zn2As2 results in a ferromagnetic ordering below Curie temperature,
TC ~ 40 K. (Sr3La2O5)(Zn1-xMnx)2As2 has a layered crystal structure identical
to that of 32522-type Fe based superconductors, and represents the fifth DMS
family that has a direct counterpart among the FeAs high temperature
superconductor families.Comment: Accepted for publication in EP
GNNEvaluator: Evaluating GNN Performance On Unseen Graphs Without Labels
Evaluating the performance of graph neural networks (GNNs) is an essential
task for practical GNN model deployment and serving, as deployed GNNs face
significant performance uncertainty when inferring on unseen and unlabeled test
graphs, due to mismatched training-test graph distributions. In this paper, we
study a new problem, GNN model evaluation, that aims to assess the performance
of a specific GNN model trained on labeled and observed graphs, by precisely
estimating its performance (e.g., node classification accuracy) on unseen
graphs without labels. Concretely, we propose a two-stage GNN model evaluation
framework, including (1) DiscGraph set construction and (2) GNNEvaluator
training and inference. The DiscGraph set captures wide-range and diverse graph
data distribution discrepancies through a discrepancy measurement function,
which exploits the outputs of GNNs related to latent node embeddings and node
class predictions. Under the effective training supervision from the DiscGraph
set, GNNEvaluator learns to precisely estimate node classification accuracy of
the to-be-evaluated GNN model and makes an accurate inference for evaluating
GNN model performance. Extensive experiments on real-world unseen and unlabeled
test graphs demonstrate the effectiveness of our proposed method for GNN model
evaluation.Comment: Accepted by NeurIPS 202
Complete two-loop electroweak corrections to
We compute the complete two-loop electroweak corrections to the Higgsstralung
process at the future Higgs factory. The Feynman
integrals involved in the computation are decomposed into linear combinations
of a minimal set of master integrals taking advantage of the recent
developments of integral reduction techniques. The master integrals are then
evaluated by differential equations with boundary conditions provided by the
auxiliary mass flow method. Our final result for given is expressed
as a piecewise function defined by several deeply expanded power series, which
has high precision and can be further manipulated efficiently. Our calculation
presents the first complete two-loop electroweak corrections for processes with
four external particles.Comment: 5 pages, 2 figures. arXiv admin note: text overlap with

Multistage Effort and the Equity Structure of Venture Investment Based on Reciprocity Motivation
For venture capitals, it is a long process from an entry to its exit. In this paper, the activity of venture investment will be divided into multistages. And, according to the effort level entrepreneurs will choose, the venture capitalists will provide an equity structure at the very beginning. As a benchmark for comparison, we will establish two game models on multistage investment under perfect rationality: a cooperative game model and a noncooperative one. Further, as a cause of pervasive psychological preference behavior, reciprocity motivation will influence the behavior of the decision-makers. Given this situation, Rabin’s reciprocity motivation theory will be applied to the multistage game model of the venture investment, and multistage behavior game model will be established as well, based on the reciprocity motivation. By looking into the theoretical derivations and simulation studies, we find that if venture capitalists and entrepreneurs both have reciprocity preferences, their utility would have been Pareto improvement compared with those under perfect rationality
Methological quality of systematic reviews and meta-analyses on acupuncture for stroke: a review of review
Objective:
To assess the methodological quality of systematic reviews and meta-analyses regarding acupuncture intervention for stroke and the primary studies within them.
Methods:
Two researchers searched PubMed, Cumulative index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Embase, ISI Web of Knowledge, Cochrane, Allied and Complementary Medicine, Ovid Medline, Chinese Biomedical Literature Database, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, Wanfang and Traditional Chinese Medical Database to identify systematic reviews and meta-analyses about acupuncture for stroke published from the inception to December 2016. Review characteristics and the criteria for assessing the primary studies within reviews were extracted. The methodological quality of the reviews was assessed using adapted Oxman and Guyatt Scale. The methodological quality of primary studies was also assessed.
Results:
Thirty-two eligible reviews were identified, 15 in English and 17 in Chinese. The English reviews were scored higher than the Chinese reviews (P=0.025), especially in criteria for avoiding bias and the scope of search. All reviews used the quality criteria to evaluate the methodological quality of primary studies, but some criteria were not comprehensive. The primary studies, in particular the Chinese reviews, had problems with randomization, allocation concealment, blinding, dropouts and withdrawals, intent-to-treat analysis and adverse events.
Conclusions:
Important methodological flaws were found in Chinese systematic reviews and primary studies. It was necessary to improve the methodological quality and reporting quality of both the systematic reviews published in China and primary studies on acupuncture for stroke
Isolated Diatomic Ni-Fe Metal-Nitrogen Sites for Synergistic Electroreduction of CO2
Polynary single‐atom structures can combine the advantages of homogeneous and heterogeneous catalysts while providing synergistic functions based on different molecules and their interfaces. However, the fabrication and identification of such an active‐site prototype remain elusive. Here we report isolated diatomic Ni‐Fe sites anchored on nitrogenated carbon as an efficient electrocatalyst for CO2 reduction. The catalyst exhibits high selectivity with CO Faradaic efficiency above 90 % over a wide potential range from −0.5 to −0.9 V (98 % at −0.7 V), and robust durability, retaining 99 % of its initial selectivity after 30 hours of electrolysis. Density functional theory studies reveal that the neighboring Ni‐Fe centers not only function in synergy to decrease the reaction barrier for the formation of COOH* and desorption of CO, but also undergo distinct structural evolution into a CO‐adsorbed moiety upon CO2 uptake. This research was undertaken with the assistance of
