Panicum maximum (Jacq.) et l'intensification fourragère en Côte d'Ivoire

L'intérêt agronomique des Panicum maximum est analysé. La diversité de l'espèce est d'abord présentée et une classification de référence est établie. Les recherches fondamentales sur la biologie de la reproduction et la génétique menées à l'ORSTOM ont permis de concevoir un schéma d'amélioration génétique ici esquissé. L'évaluation agronomique de différents clones est réalisée à travers divers essais dont le but est de situer les possibilités actuelles, les problèmes et les voies d'amélioration qui conditionnent l'organisation d'une production fourragère intensive à base de variétés de Panicum maximu

Fandubbing

This chapter provides an overview of fandubbing, understood largely as a phenomenon encompassing a myriad of dubbing practices undertaken by amateur or non-expert users. The focus is placed on its origins, evolution and characteristics, and on the motivations of those involved in these underexplored fandom-related practices. This is achieved drawing on Baños’ research on this topic, on the few academic publications dealing with this phenomenon, and on non-academic sources providing useful insight into these practices and revealing the point of view of the creators of fandubs. The chapter also highlights the differences between fandubs and official dubbing, and identifies areas of future research

Terminological challenges in the translation of science documentaries: a case-study

This article aims to describe some of the main terminological problems audiovisual translators have to face when dealing with the translation of science documentaries, specifically in the English-Catalan combination. The first section of the article presents some theoretical concepts which underlie this research and which are taken, for the most part, from Cabré's Communicative Theory of Terminology. Then, specific terminological problems audiovisual translators have to solve are described using the data provided by a corpus of four science documentaries lasting approximately 50 minutes each. These challenges include identifying a term, understanding a term, finding the right equivalent, dealing with the absence of an adequate equivalent, solving denominative variations, choosing between in vivo and in vitro terminology, and overcoming mistranscriptions

Posemètre pour microscope électronique. Application au choix des révélateurs

Réalisation d'un posemètre pour microscope électronique basé sur la mesure du flux électronique. Le temps de pose a été mesuré pour tous les grossissements. Cet appareil a été utilisé pour mettre au point une série de révélateurs permettant de faire varier le γ des émulsions de 1 à 7.
