Objective: The present study represents the development of two spectrophotometric methods for the determination of carisoprodol (CCP) in pure and formulations using ferric chloride, o-phenanthroline, and p-nitroaniline (PNA), sodium nitrate as analytical reagents. Methods: The proposed spectrophotometric methods were developed based on oxidation of Fe3+ by CCP, and then, the resultant product was reacted with o-phenanthroline in acidic condition forms an orange-colored complex and diazotization of PNA followed by coupling with CCP in an alkaline medium forms yellow-colored complex. Results: Under the optimized conditions, the absorbance of CCP concentration obeyed the Beer’s law in the ranges of 10–60 μg/mL with good correlation coefficient values of 0.9992 and 0.9990 with the limit of detection values of 1.286 and 2.408 μg/mL, respectively. Conclusion: The proposed methods were successfully applied for the determination of CCP in pure and in their formulations

AbstractThe main objective of this work is to evaluate the use of two mix design procedures for designing bituminous pavement mixes with foamed bitumen. Mix design was carried out following the South African and Caltrans guidelines. The RAP materials used for mix design were collected from the NH-5, Chennai-Tada section. Using foamed bitumen produced from Wirtgen WLB 10 foaming equipment, a mix with RAP material, virgin aggregate and active filler were produced in the pug mill mixer. Marshall compaction effort was used for fabricating the samples. Using the indirect tensile strength test on dry and wet specimens, the optimum binder content was determined. It was seen that the two mix design procedure adopted showed different mix constituents despite using the same RAP source

DDD.The chemical properties of chemical compounds and their molecular structures are intimately connected. Topological indices are numerical values associated with chemical molecular graphs that help in understanding the physicochemical properties, chemical reactivity and biological activity of a chemical compound. This study obtains some topological properties of second and third dominating David derived (DDD) networks and computes several K Banhatti polynomial of second and third type of DDD

Topological indices are numerical values connected with chemical molecular graphs that contribute to understanding a chemical compounds physical qualities, chemical reactivity, and biological activity. In this study, we have obtained some topological properties of the first dominating David derived (DDD) networks and computed several K-Banhatti polynomials of the first type of DDD

Background: Lung carcinoma is the most common. With this, a study was conducted to assess the clinical profile of Non-small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) and also to evaluate the response to chemotherapy in various stages of NSCLC.Methods: It was a prospective study. All the clinically confirmed cases with NSCLC were taken into consideration. Clinical staging was done, diagnosis was confirmed by histopathological findings. Treatment was given depending on the stage of carcinoma. Patients were evaluated before each cycle of chemotherapy for any progression of disease. Pathological response was evaluated after completion of 6 cycles of chemotherapy. Chi square test was used to find the statistical significance; p<0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results: Total 153 patients admitted to oncology wing were taken to the study, with mean age 59.07±10.618 years, 2.6 male female ratio. In this 73% were in stage III and the remaining in stage IV NSCLC. Majority (56.10%) of the study subjects in stage III NSCLC showed partial response, Majority (68%) of the subjects in stage IV NSCLC showed partial response; the difference was Statistically significant (p<0.05).Conclusions: NSCLS is common in older people with male dominance due to habits

The suggested formula uses bilinear interpolation to enlarge the reduced resolution image by two occasions. Then, the interpolated image continues to be decomposed by DWT into different sub bands. Our prime frequency sub bands acquired by SWT from the input low resolution image are now being incremented in to the DWT decomposed high frequency sub bands to be able to correct the believed coefficients. In parallel, the DWT decomposed low frequency sub band image can also be interpolated individually. Within the real life, there are a number of applications requiring high definition (HR) images in remote sensing, medicine, military information acquisition, multimedia, etc. Due to the expensive and physical limitations from the acquisition hardware, the reduced resolution (LR) images are utilized frequently. So, super resolution (SR) restoration is definitely an emerged solution permitting to create one or some HR images from the sequence of LR images. Quantitative and qualitative experiments for that introduced method demonstrated great brilliance in acquiring high definition images rich in PSNR far better visual quality. Within this paper, a singular SR restoration formula according to wavelet decomposition was suggested and lastly continues to be implemented on OMAP3530 platform, demonstrating the potency of the renovation of SR images
