The Association of Christian Librarians in recognition of outstanding contribution to Christian librarianship awards the Emily Russel Award. The following article is a revision of the Emily Russel Award presentation made by Sheila Carib/om during the 1997 ACL Conference held at Northwestem College in St. Paul, Minnesota. In summary form, we have attempted to highlight the careers of the 1997 Emily Russel Award recipients
