Involvement of Romania’s European Integration in the Field of Employment and Efficient Labour Use

    Get PDF
The beginning of the article presents the general structure of Romania employed population while joining the European Union. It is proved in figures the extent to which the transition to market economy affected Romania’s workforce, both on sexes and ages and also on socio-professional categories and activity fields. The article’s aim is to show us why the Romanian workforce migrates and which are the dimensions of this migration in the conditions of EU joining. At the same time, it shows us where Romanian migrate, the amount of persons that migrate and the price they pay for this. Finally, it is mentioned the way the workforce employment and usage will evolve during the post joining period, the positive and negative social implications of this complex process and also the forecast solutions for the emigrants coming back to Romania.workforce; workforce migration; the rate of unemployment; the minimum gross salary; the price of emigration.

Influence of push and pull factors on female entrepreneurship in Romania

    Get PDF
When it comes to follow the path of entrepreneurship, there are several factors influencing the decision of female entrepreneurs. The present study aimed to research the importance and influence that two categories of factors are exerting on this decision, as in regards to female entrepreneurs that are Romanian. Through using a questionnaire that evaluated several aspects of those influencing factors grouped as push and pull factors, the results were processed in the SPSS software via various methods such as Correlation tests, Pearson correlation, Factor analysis and linear regression. Those lead to the conclusion that for our particular sample of Romanian female entrepreneurs there are not applicable the same results as the theory implies. In our case, the sample is more focused and motivated by intrinsic benefits rather than extrinsic ones, choosing the entrepreneurial path due to pull factors rather than push ones as the specialty literature reflects

Medications, Deep Brain Stimulation, and Other Factors Influencing Impulse Control Disorders in Parkinson's Disease

Impulse control disorders (ICDs) in Parkinson's disease (PD) have a high cumulative incidence and negatively impact quality of life. ICDs are influenced by a complex interaction of multiple factors. Although it is now well-recognized that dopaminergic treatments and especially dopamine agonists underpin many ICDs, medications alone are not the sole cause. Susceptibility to ICD is increased in the setting of PD. While causality can be challenging to ascertain, a wide range of modifiable and non-modifiable risk factors have been linked to ICDs. Common characteristics of PD patients with ICDs have been consistently identified across many studies; for example, males with an early age of PD onset and dopamine agonist use have a higher risk of ICD. However, not all cases of ICDs in PD can be directly attributable to dopamine, and studies have concluded that additional factors such as genetics, smoking, and/or depression may be more predictive. Beyond dopamine, other ICD associations have been described but remain difficult to explain, including deep brain stimulation surgery, especially in the setting of a reduction in dopaminergic medication use. In this review, we will summarize the demographic, genetic, behavioral, and clinical contributions potentially influencing ICD onset in PD. These associations may inspire future preventative or therapeutic strategies

Issues of the right dimension of the guvernmental services sector

The essential issue under discussion is the right size of the governmental expenses level, and also the negative consequences of the exaggerate size of this field over the private sector. It is also explained the governmental expenses size and the factors that determine it, approaching the issue of their normal determining in GDP. It is analysed the output of the private goods field services, of the governmental services and the one of the manufactured goods field , the factors that influence them and their right dimension.Governmental sector, Governmental expenses, Governmental purchases, Transfers, Final governmental consumption, Desindustrialisation, Goods services, Governmental services, Private services

Analysis of Convective Thunderstorm Split Cells in South-Eastern Romania

    Get PDF
The mesoscale configurations are analysed associated withthesplitting process of convective cells responsible for severe weather phenomena in the south-eastern part of Romania. The analysis was performed using products from the S-band Doppler weather radar located in Medgidia. The cases studied were chosen to cover various synoptic configurations when the cell splitting process occurs. To detect the presence and intensity of the tropospheric jet, the Doppler velocity field and vertical wind profiles derived from radar algorithms were used. The relative Doppler velocity field was used to study relative flow associated with convective cells. Trajectories and rotational characteristics associated with convective cells were obtained from reflectivity and relative Doppler velocity fields at various elevations. This analysis highlights the main dynamic features associated with the splitting process of convective cells: the tropospheric jet and vertical moisture flow associated with the configuration of the flow relative to the convective cells for the lower and upper tropospheric layers. These dynamic characteristics seen in the Doppler based velocity field and in the relative Doppler velocity field to the storm can indicate further evolution of convective developments, with direct implications to very short range forecast (nowcasting)
