2nd general assembly hosted by CWI

The second General Assembly took place in two stages: On 22nd June, work package and task leaders provided updates on project advancement during an online session with all partners before meeting in person over 2 packed days engaging partners with technology demonstrations, presentations, business & exploitation sessions, requirements and design workshop sessions

As part of the TRANSMIXR work on metrics and evaluation, the Distributed and Interactive Systems (DIS) group from CWI presented the work “Evaluation of point cloud features for no-reference visual quality assessment” at the IEEE International Conference on Quality of Multimedia Experience (QoMEX) 2023

CWI researchers exploring the workflow of XR production companies through user-centered workshops

During May-June 2023, CWI researchers conducted three focus group workshops with XR production companies for better understanding the production workflow. The detailed insights and outcomes from these workshops serve as the foundation for the TRANSMIXR project, identifying the opportunities for the authoring tools to be developed. They provide a clear framework for the development of tools that will be useful for the production of next-generation immersive and social XR applications

CWI finalist in Grand Challenge of the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (IEEE ICIP)

As part of the TRANSMIXR work on metrics and evaluation, the partner CWI (Distributed and Interactive Systems group) participated in the competitive Grand Challenge “Point Cloud Visual Quality Assessment” from the IEEE International Conference on Image Processing (IEEE ICIP)
