No full textLisfranc injuries account for only 0.2% of orthopaedic injuries, yet if missed the long-term consequences of arthrosis and acquired foot deformity can be devastating. This review article takes a systematic approach to assist trainees understand the biomechanics of the foot, and the pathoanatomy of Lisfranc injuries. The classification of Lisfranc injuries will be reviewed, and issues of the management of these fracture-dislocations will be debated
