The  variable character  of the climate in southern Oltenia, where summers are dry and warm, offers favorable conditions for the cultivation of different varieties of okra. In the climatic conditions of 2019, the results obtained regarding the behavior of the five varieties of okra studied: Ela 2, Clemson spineless, Ilinca, Ladyʼs finger, Smaranda highlighted differences between varieties both in terms of plant growth and development, and fruit production. From the productive point of view the highest production was recorded in the Clemson spineless variety (7.8 t / ha), statistically insured production as significant

The main purpose of the experiences organized at Research and Development Institute for Vegetable and Flower Growing Vidra was to evaluate the behavior of different cultivars of eggplants in specific soil and climate conditions of the Vidra area and to identify those with high yields, with quality fruits and tolerant to soil borne pathogens attack. In 2016, 12 cultivars of eggplants were studied: 6 non-hybrid varieties (Daniela, Luiza, Dragaica, Zaraza, Belona, Black Beauty) and 6 hybrids (Andra F1, Rebeca F1, Bibo F1, Clorinda F1, Mirabelle F1, Epic F1).The highest yield was achieved in Rebeca F1 and Luiza cultivars. The highest vitamin C content was realized at Rebeca F1, Luiza, and Zaraza cultivars. The Mirabelle F1 hybrid and Black Beauty variety presented a reduced sensitivity to Verticillium dahliae and Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. melongenae

Climatic conditions in the sandy soils of southern Oltenia encourage cultivation of tree species in terms of applying specific technologies. Possibility of poor sandy soils fertile capitalization, earliness in 7- 10 days of fruit ripening , high yields and quality are the main factors supporting the development of fruit growing in the sandy soils of southern Oltenia. The main objectives of the research were to CCDCPN Dăbuleni. Establish and improve stone fruit species assortment, adapted to the stress of the sandy soils, establishment and evaluation of the influence of stress on trees and their influence on the size and quality of production, development of technological links (planting distances, forms management, fertilization), getting high and consistent annual production of high quality, containing low as pesticide residues, to establish a integrated health control program of the trees with emphasis on biotechnical. Research has shown good stone species behavior, and their recommended proportion is 75% of all fruit trees (peach 36%, 14% apricot, plum15%, sweet and sour cherry fruit growing 10% of the total area). Results on peach varieties revealed: ’Redhaven’, ’Suncrest’, ’Loring’ with yields ranging from (24.8 t / ha to 29.0 t/ha) with maturation period from July to August, and varieties ’NJ 244’, ’Fayette’, ’Flacara’ with productions ranging from (19.7 t / ha to 23.0 t/ha) with maturation period from August to September. The sweet cherry varieties ’Van’, ’Rainier’, ’Stella’, with yields ranging from 17. 2 to 24.4 t / ha. In the range studied sour cherry were found ’Oblacinska’ varieties of 11.0 t / ha, ’Cernokaia’ with 10.5 t / ha, ’Schatten Morelle’ with 9.1 t / ha. Optimum planting density and shape of the peach crown found that the highest yields of fruit are produced in the form of vertical cordon crown, with values ranging from 15.9 t / ha at a distance of 2 m, 10.3 t / ha at a distance of 2.5 m and 7.9 t / ha at a distance of 3 m, the distance between the tree rows is 4m. Need for organic and mineral fertilization, and the effectiveness of micronutrients with bor established optimum fertilizer doses on fruit peach, (40-60 t / ha manure and N100P80 K100). Biochemical compozition of fruit parameters is comparable with that obtained in other fruit growing areas in the country. Cherry and cherry fruit under sandy soils accumulate much larger quantities of total drymatter, carbohydrates and C vitamin compared with apricot and peach fruit

CAPITALIZING OF THE SANDY SOILS FROM SOUTHERN OLTENIA THROUGH CULTIVATION OF NEW VARIETIES OF TRITICALE

The knowledge the biological particularities of the plant and response of new varieties developed to environmental conditions, is an important prerequisite for the starting promote a certain species of plants in the structure of crops from a given area. In this regard, triticale crop is a requirement of the current agriculture, which consists in exploitation of less productive areas for wheat and maize, areas affected by drought and poor in nutrients as it is the sandy soils. Research results obtained from 10 triticale varieties, studied during 2013-2015 under the conditions of the sandy soil to CCDCPN Dabuleni emphasizes the realization of production in the range of 3497 to 4129.3 kg / ha. Were evidenced by production of more than 4000 kg / ha, to the Oda and Rotric genotypes, which have registered the thousand grain weight (TGW) of 45.75 to 47.55 g. In triticale production quality, namely the percentage of protein and gluten, it was influenced by both the variety and the climatic conditions of the year. Were observed at values higher of the protein content registered in 2013, which was a dry year, compared with that obtained in 201

SURVEYING AND MAPPING OF UNDERGROUND MINES

    Get PDF
A mine surveyor provides services from early design and project implementation throughout a mine’s life to closure. Surveyors deal in spatially referenced information and measure angles and distances to document the positions of mining features and boundaries, and present the information in the form of mine maps.In an underground mine, surveys are typically performed in dark, confined and often wet spaces, and special equipment and methods have had to be developed to comply with underground safety regulations. Deep mine surveys must be performed in 3 D and underground and surface surveys must be correlated. Underground surveys are performed at different levels of precision

SURVEYING AND MAPPING OF OPEN PIT MINES

    Get PDF
Surveys of open pit mines combine characteristics of engineering and topographic surveys. The surveyor provides guidance for miners to develop mining operations according to the earlier-established mine plan, then surveys the progress of mining and develops maps and models representing its current state. The maps and models are used for calculating the volumes and tonnages mined and for reconciling mining progress with the mine plan. Surveying of open pits usually involves the following activities:a. establishment of a mine survey control network;b. detailed topographic surveying of open pit and waste dumps;c. data processing to calculate mined volumes and tonnages;d. stability control surveys of open-pit and waste dump slopes;e. support surveys for earthmoving-machine control systems

International Board for Plant Genetic Resources peanut varieties classified as habitus plant in three main groups: erect, decumbent and procumbent. Characteristic of this group is the correlation between the type of growth and length of growing season, increasing from erect to decumbent and procumbent. The research conducted at CCDCPN Dăbuleni showed that type peanut genotypes decumbent growth and procumbent manifested in terms of our country a higher yield potential than those with erect type of growth

RESULTS REGARDING THE FERTILIZATION OF THE SUNFLOWER CROP WITH AN EFFLUENT OBTAINED BY WASTEWATER TREATMENT

    Get PDF
The research was carried out in 2020 on the sunflower crop grown in sandy soils in southern Oltenia and aimed at the influence of fertigation with an effluent obtained by wastewater treatment, compared to conventional fertilization and irrigation with normal water from surface water sources. The obtained results showed the positive influence, on the nutritional status of the plant, of ensuring the dose of nitrogen in the vegetation by fertigation with purified water, applied fractionally in 2-3 steps (Nt-3.5%; Pt = 0.35% Kt = 2.7%), compared to classical fertilization and irrigation with normal water from surface water sources. It was noted with the best results on production (4427.5 kg / ha) and the weight of one thousand grains (69 g), the variant in which the dose of 70 kg N / ha, required in vegetation, was ensured by irrigation with treated water,  applied fractionally in two doses of 50%, starting with the phase of 5-7 leaves.Â
