Located en route of migratory waterbirds‘ annual flight to wintering grounds in Southeast Asia all the way to Australia, Hong Kong‘s wetlands serves as an important feeding and resting ground. The Mai Po Nature Reserve and Hong Kong Wetland Park are two managed wetlands aimed at preserving rich biodiversity and fulfill the objectives of public education and recreation.
