Peterodimenzijski kozmološki model struna u drugoj samotvornoj teoriji
In this paper we have constructed a five-dimensional string cosmological model in Barber\u27s (1982) second self-creation theory of gravitation. When the coupling constant becomes zero, the model degenerates into two different string cosmological models in Einstein\u27s theory corresponding to variable G and constant G. Some physical and geometrical properties of the model are discussed.U ovom smo radu razvili peterodimenzijski kozmološki model struna u okviru druge Barberove samotvorne teorije gravitacije.
In this paper we made an attempt to construct a five-dimensional FRW stiff fluid cosmological model in Lyra manifold. This model reduces to curvature-free (k=0) expanding stiff fluid cosmological model. Some physical and geometrical properties of the model are discussed.

Radion effects on unitarity in gauge-boson scattering
The scalar field associated with fluctuations in the positions of the two
branes, the ``radion'', plays an important role determining the cosmology and
collider phenomenology of the Randall-Sundrum solution to the hierarchy
problem. It is now well known that the radion mass is of order the weak scale,
and that its couplings to standard model fields are order 1/TeV to the trace of
the energy momentum tensor. We calculate longitudinal vector boson scattering
amplitudes to explore the constraints on the radion mass and its coupling from
perturbative unitarity. The scattering cross section can indeed become
non-perturbative at energies prior to reaching the TeV brane cutoff scale, but
only when some curvature-Higgs mixing on the TeV brane is present. We show that
the coefficient of the curvature-Higgs mixing operator must be less than about
3 for the 4-d effective theory to respect perturbative unitarity up to the TeV
brane cutoff scale. Mass bounds on the Higgs boson and the radion are also
discussed.Comment: 17 pages, LaTeX, 5 eps figures, uses epsf.sty and axodraw.st

Radion effects on the production of an intermediate-mass scalar and Z at LEP II
We have studied the process, where
is the Higgs and/or radion bosons. The implications of the radion effects on
the preliminary ALEPH data are also discussed. The case of the lighter radion
than Higgs boson is disfavored by the ALEPH analyses of the tagged four-jet
data, since the radion predominantly decays into two gluon jets due to the QCD
trace anomaly. If the radion is highly degenerate in mass with the Higgs, the
cross section can be increased more than at one sigma level, with natural scale
of the vacuum expectation value of the radion.Comment: 10 pages, 1 Postscript figure, final version to appear in PR
Violation of supersymmetric equivalence in R parity violating couplings
In this paper we consider the violation of supersymmetric equvalence among
the R parity violating couplings caused by widely split chiral
supermultiplets. We find that if and
then the violation of SUSY equivalence is of the
order of in heavy SQCD models. On the other hand if
and then the violation of SUSY
equivalence can be as large as 9.4% in 2-1 models.Comment: Plain Tex, 7 pages, no figure
Tropical Forage Legumes in India: Status and Scope for Sustaining Livestock Production
Livestock contributes enormously in food and nutritional security apart from livelihood security to rural population all over the world. India has the largest number of livestock, representing over 17% of world population. Availability of forage legumes is essential for better animal health, production and increasing the nutritive value of forage-based rations, besides providing a source of biological nitrogen fixation for enriching soil, reducing land degradation and mitigating climate change. However, supply of quality green fodder in India is extremely precarious, and the gap is huge against demand. The major fodder legume crops cultivated in India are Medicago sativa, Trifolium alexandrinum, Vigna unguiculata, Vigna umbellate and range legumes are Stylosanthes spp., Desmanthus virgatus, and Clitoria ternatea. Indian subcontinent represents wide spectrum of eco-climates and reported diversity of 21 forage legumes genera viz., Desmodium, Lablab, Stylosanthes, Vigna, Macroptelium, Centrosema and browse plants Leucaena, Sesbania, Albizia, Bauhinia, Cassia, Grewia, etc. Diversity of forage legumes were collected (>3200 accessions), evaluated and sources for different biotic and abiotic stress tolerance were identified, apart from >50 cultivars developed. Considering these aspects, tropical legumes for livestock production, soil health and ecosystem services, diversity, evaluation and breeding for improved varieties are discussed in this chapter
